AFAIK all I can buy is food, drink, services, and crap from the overpriced gift shop. I never have need to buy food/drink/services so I end up just wasting a ton of comps since they're constantly expiring every 60 days.
Buying and selling the more expensive shop items like Oakleys and watches is my only real idea but these are massively overpriced so I should expect like 30 to 40 cents on the dollar after selling.
I just gotta say, unless you have some kind of very particular dietary restrictions, consider actually using them for food...there are some really excellent restaurants, and it doesn’t take much in comps to cover an entire meal. I figure you’ve got to eat at some point anyway.
The salad at Council Oak (eat at the bar), the soups at Rise and the Poker Snack Bar (made by Rise), the waffle at Rise—all excellent.
Less healthy, but also really good are the burgers & chicken sandwiches and onion rings at the Poker Snack Bar. Have also had some good meals at The Rez.
From a business perspective, I highly doubt you would get anywhere with the casino as far as changing anything- from their perspective, they are offering the comps as a thanks for your loyalty in playing regularly, but they are perfectly happy if you choose to not use them.
