Hey guys, with tomorrow being July 1st I figured it was time to resurrect this thread. I've written out the rest of the FAQ and sent it to a moderator so he can add it to the 2nd post of this thread so hopefully this can be the center of discussion for all discussion related to the Seminole Hard Rock poker room.
I know that some of this has already been mentioned in the various Florida poker threads but here are a few of the recent changes that have taken place at The Rock:
- The poker room has switched over to using the same kind of chips that are used inside the casino for table games. If you have any of the old chips, you must cash them in by September 15, 2010 or they will no longer have any cash value.
- The Bravo computer system has been installed and is now operational. This allows dealers to swipe in players' frequent player cards at the table to track their play, call for a floor person or cocktail waitress, and notify the brush stand of open seats.
- The old Players Card is being phased out as it does not work with the new Bravo system. You can continue to use whatever money you have on the card by asking the staff for vouchers but you can no longer get rated on it. You must now sign up for a Wild Card, which is the same frequent player card used inside the casino for slot and table play. With this card, you are able to pay for food/merchandise/etc. without requesting a voucher first.
- High-limit cash games are being moved upstairs. Hopefully this will crack down on the amount of loitering that goes on around the bigger games.
- The poker room is planning on raising the limits at precisely 12:00am on July 1st (surprise, surprise) and it's going to be a madhouse.
