Late Fridays and Saturdays ... I must be stuck on crap tables with old people and fat ladies. Gotta find the loose players.

There you go.... It would b located in the Mtt-c section on 2p2, in the coconut creek WPT thread. I thought someone already posted it here as well.

This may have been covered but are there any promotions at the creek with regard to $/hr or giftcards?

I travel from around the corner to the Hard Rock to play for those $750 giftcards and $/hr that can be used for tournaments. I would much sooner do that in my own backyard.

Kaz,

If you play 2-5 no limit or above you are eligible to receive free food and free drinks. We on top of that comp you $1 per play and occasionally run promotions for wpt entries based on the amount of hours you play.Hope this helps.

any chance this room will ever run the $250-$750 gift card promotion? i really don't understand why the hard rock does but coconut creek doesn't... you would think being so close to the isle that the gift card promo would be a smart move.

i've thought about changing rooms just for the gift card promo but the drive isn't quite worth it for me.

Pablo / Mr. Robledo,

Do you have any intention of installing the bravo live poker app? A lot of the casinos down here have started to use it, with seminole casinos being the few exceptions and from what I've been hearing traffic to the room has increased because of it.

Spoke with Pete (who I believe is the tournament director for the room) 2 days ago about if the room had plans on taking advantage of the bravo live app. He told me he had forgotten about it, but had intended on bringing it up for discussion at the next meeting thanks to me reminding him. Hopefully it gets implemented as it would most likely bring in a little more traffic for higher stakes games if players don't have to go through the hassle of calling in to check what games are running.

Used to be my old stomping grounds back in the day, then moved to the isle when they remodeled it. Have been going back to creek since they also remodeled it but the games have been dismal, last three times I was there there was only one 2/5 game with some old regs I recognized and like 5 1/2 tables full of nits.

I live in Boca so it's a closer drive for me but if anyone is there grinding away hit me up.

The 10/20 mixed game (O/8 and stud/8) got two tables going last week. Will go off again this week, Wednesday at 2 p.m. $5 max rake, no jackpot drop, room comping free food and well drinks. Plan is to do this every Wednesday in January.

Just wanted to restate that I split my time by the Isles and Hard Rock Hollywood and if your promos (food doesn't matter to me) match theirs I would be happy investing my monthly playing time only here.

As the tournament tables start to break they will begin to spread two separate cash

I played here few months back and haven't return due to the cigarette stench outside the poker room. I would like to play here more often without the smell of cigarette and due to I live 3 miles away. So my question is, what is the best way to get to the poker room without the cigarette smell. And are there future plans to build construct a seperate entrance to poker room not through casino?

Last time I was there I parked on the north garage and took an elevator to casino then I had to take another elevator to poker room but the cigarette stench was on my clothing when I left, thanks.

Park in the west parking lot or at the valet. As you are facing the valet garage entrance, there is an unmarked, single-door entrance to the casino to the immediate right (that would be south, correct?). It almost looks like a service entrance, but it's public. It's behind some landscaping so it's kind of hard to see if you don't know it's there. The elevator to the poker room is right next to this entrance. You'll only be in smoke stench for a couple of seconds before hitting the elevator.

Aaargh. Was hoping they'd move that O/8 tourney back to the evening. Having it in the afternoon interferes badly with the cash games.

Hey all,

I am a reg in the 2/5 at the creek and am crushing it pretty hard right now but considering taking my play somewhere else due to the lack of higher stakes games (2/5 included).

If you play 2/5 at the creek you probably know who I am. (Hint: I am the most aggressive player in the game )

I honestly think the creek is one of the nicer rooms in south Florida and enjoy playing here but if the action stays low I will have to make a change. Also any boca/ lauderdale/ south Florida grinders who wanna kick it or talk hands or whatever hit me up

I know of at least 3 maybe 4 players that would happily play if it was only O8 or even HO but stud kills it.
