everytime i went to isles to play 2/5 the action really suxed , im hoping the creek has better action ,

i'm really not the one to comment (haven't been there in the evenings yet and always play 1/2) but since nobody else has... sunday afternoon i believe they had two 2/5 running.
the room isn't complete though. a high stakes section with i believe 10 more tables will be open soon.

so if you go now and don't like what you see be certain to check back in when they announce the official opening.

Don't they usually have 6-7 2/5 games going? How bad can it be?

I went last thursday night to check out the new room. They had two 2-5 tables running when I arrived and later opened a third one. I haven't played there in years bc mainly because of the smoke. Must say I really like the new room - really nice, clean and comfortable. Also like the hourly high hand promotions. I've been an Isle regular for the past few years, and there was more action at the Creek during my stay there (although it was a very small sample size) than Ive ever seen at an Isle 2-5 game.

Obviously the huge con about the new room is the current way to access it. You have to walk through the main casino, which is just disgusting. However, seeing as thats the only negative I currently see about the new room, I'll definitey be playing there more often once they open the new entrance.

I agree. Went there tonight for the first time, really nice, bright, clean room with lots of space between tables (more than Isle).

Only problem is the parking situation was a nightmare, and had to walk through really nasty casino to get to room. Came home stinking of smoke. Won't go again until new entrance open.

They had two 2/5 games, mine had no action, and couldn't get a change.

thanks... the bj was a random number generator. darned destination casino stories have kept me trapped in the office... if you see a tall dorky guy playing tight at a $1-$2 NL come say hey...

Sat down and played Friday night. Very nice room, I thought, and good TV viewing (maybe I spend too much time watching and don't watch the players enough).

Just thinking here... $500 high hands with 10-12 tables going. That's a nice opportunity.

Would love to get some mixed games going there. Possibly a Stud8/O8 mix would be fun. I agree with most everyone that the Isle is a serious bunch of nits. Some of the games are so boring and i haven't played the 10/20 O8 game there in a while.

Hopefully they do something about the smoke at coco creek. It's so out of hand there on a weekend night. I seriously can't believe people smoke this much and they have such a poor ventilation system. Haven't people heard that smoking is poor for your health. Just amazing to me in this state.

I heard there will be weekly freerolls you can qualify for from hours played? Any details on what these are/when they start?

this month they have $5,000 freeroll every sunday if you play 25+ hrs mon-sat.

Just went by there ... the parking garage is still not open. And I never got out of my car because I couldn't find a place to park, about 8:30 p.m.

Yep, just go to the bar pay a dollar for water and don't tip... Or get tap water at the table and tip a dollar. *shrug*

Drove by the Creek tonight on my way home from work. You can see where the garage connects with the casino and thus the easy entrance to the poker room. Hopefully security is strong there so no one gets jacked on their way out of there like they do at HR.
