I've had a ridiculously strong itching to play poker, and obv it's banned in the us.

Are they any good cardrooms near seattle washington? I'd be willing to just play on the weekends if that's when the games running.

Something like 2/5 or 3/5 No Limit Hold Thems.

Also what are reasonable winrates?

From what I gather it seems 3/5 spread at the Muckleshoot is my best bet?

How are the current games on the weekend?

I'm told that the 3/5 spread game at the Muck is tough, but your best bet is Friday/Saturday night. I play the tournaments there, but have talked to a few people who say the S/L is tough.

Confirmed.

Confirmed. I played at the Muck Fri. night. Game seemed full of regs and semi-competent recreational players. Didn't see any real tourists or drunks. So the game was medium-softish, but not super crushable. I have been playing Sno, but am now switching to the Muck. I only play Fri. or Sat nights - mostly.

Apparently where I live in Lacey at hawks prairie casino there is a 4/8 kill game which runs regularly.

Anyone have any opinions or observations from that game?

Is it worth learning LHE to play in? What are possible hourly rates like 2bb/hr?

Who wins at 4/8? Do the math. Rake wins. Nothing left for second or third place.

I'm not familiar with that exact game, but the "is 4/8 beatable" argument comes up regularly in the small stakes LHE forum.

I personally believe that it is likely beatable with solid SSHE play. Probably for a max of 1 big bet (I.e., $8) an hour. I'm assuming "standard" $3+$2 rake+jackpot drop, and the kill will help a bit provided you make the correct adjustments.

Are you going to play it on the floor or in the garage, considering how few tables there are?

I play cash exclusively, but I'm looking to get some live MTT experience. What are the best tournaments in the area? Looking for decent structure mostly.

Write/call your congressman, write/call the Governor. It's still bull**** that it's online poker in Washington State would still be considered a crime, but this is better than it being a felony.

A ****ing felony. Jesus. What the hell?

Why the **** is it still a crime? This is such bull****. I guess we just take it in the ass because a $50 fine is better than a felony.

Was at Sno last night too playing the 2/5. I'm kind of getting use to the new room set up. It's nice and cozy, kind of like a bunk bed barracks in the gulag. Sno is closest to my job so best place to go after a hard day at the office.

Saw some raucous at your PLO game. Apparently two guys got into it over one of them bringing up the fact the other had been banned from Tulalip for cheating. One of the dealers told me the guy who got banned from Tulalip had actually attempted to palm cards from another deck. Why would he be allowed to play at Sno?

Last Sunday of the month at Tulalip is best, IMO. Buyin varies, this month it is $400. Around 200+ runners regularly. The Poker Pro challenge (week long series with $1100 ME) is coming first week of April.

Second Sunday of the month at Muckleshoot, $225 buyin.

Last Saturday of the month at Little Creek, varies around $200 buyin.

Third Sunday of the month at Clearwater, $150 buyin.

Oh I missed that drama. I left around 11:30. You have to watch out for that guy. They can ban him for all I care. He's not worth the trouble.

Who ought to be banned is the "Voice of Tulalip." You know exactly who this is - the Husky stentorian woman attorney. Friday nights are especially painful to the ears.

the funny thing is both guys involved in the raucous are banned from Tulalip. One for cheating and the other for pushing a guys head into the wall while he was peeing. I would love if both were banned from Sno but casinos around here don't work like that. In the heat of their argument they were planning a heads up match, so I suggested they do this at Tulalip but they didn't think that was very funny.
