Oh. That's fantastic for the game. Sure, he's got a nice short-term payday, but think of how much dead money he's putting back into the game.

How is that not great for the game? If those players never won anything, they wouldn't play, and the game would dry up. Less skilled players getting hot, sucking out, etc. is the lifeblood of poker.

I was there yesterday and won't be back for a while, if ever. They had four 2/5 games and one 4/8. The wait to get seated was 2+ hours. Plenty of room at the BJ tables though.

A few dealers and one floor person told me they didn't expect to have jobs in three months.

That's pretty bad. Does anyone know what the games are like midweek at the muck? I've heard weekends are pretty good but I haven't seen a specific mention in this thread about weekdays. I haven't heard much about your typical Tuesday night and if it would be worth my time playing on those nights.

I was also hoping to hear about how Much is on the weekends and the weekdays. I have played at snow for the beginning of the month and the 2/5 game was still pretty great. I did table change twice to get to the best game but once your there you can't get a better game in seattle imo. I called last weekend on friday and they said it was at least an hour wait if not more. WTF are they doing. They could easily spread 7 tables and get those ****ing idiotic table games out of there. Why not just section off another area for non smoking...

I'm thinking about start playing poker again, maybe just 10 hours a week. Is club Hollywood a good place. 3/5nl is my game but I just don't have the time to drive to a casino. 4-100 spread does not sound too bad.

Last time I was there the girl said they only spread that on Thursdays (I was there on a Friday). The quality of play there is lolbad though.

Thank you for the information. I though it was a regulary run game.

Played last night. Might play later tonight. Game has the typical 8-16 donks that have been playing for years at parkers and whatnot. If they can get people in the door would be a game worth stopping in... But until that happens game wont sustain itself with the larger tips from the group of players playing during the couple times I have played.

The 8-16 game at the Palace has been going regularly for the last 5 years. Considering they spread it just about every day and usually with 2 or 3 games on the weekends, I'd say it's pretty self-sustaining.

Snoqualmie's room sucks now. That room has gone in the ****ter. All the action will switch over to Muckleshoot now.

I was at Muck playing 4/8 this weekend. There was a 2hr wait for 4/8 at Sno, and they only had one game going!

Muck also had a 5/10 NL going Fri and Sat night. I bet all the Sno players are migrating to Muck. One of the floor people at Muck said the 5/10 on Fri and Sat night is becoming an established game. For all you high NL players Muck is the place to go weekends.

I think hes talking about The Palace Casino in Mountlake Terrace, which just opened up a month or so ago.

Oops. Forgot about that place.

They need some creativity in the naming department.

For all those mid-stakes O/8 players, I'm helping Silver Dollar Renton start a 6/12 10/20 kill on Saturdays starting at 1PM, we played last week 6 handed for about 5 hours. Hoping to get this game going steady.

Nice! I'll check it out one of these days. Saturdays are tough for me (I have my kid all day) but I'll see what I can do.

I've never heard of one. That doesn't mean there aren't any, of course.

Played for the first time in a long time at Silver Dollar SeaTac. What a dump. 2-8 spread and nothing else.

Was just down here with a canceled appointment so I figured I might as well kill an hour.

The host did say that the Renton location was running 4/8 kill O8 on Mon + Wed with the aforementioned 6/12 game on Saturday (said it ran for 3 hours).

All In for Cystic Fibrosis is the biggest one I've heard of, along with the MSFT ones. Plus some other randoms happen during the year

Does Diamond Lil's still have their high hand promos going? I'm a limit player. Trying to decide where my home casino should be. Palace North is too far for me (I live in Renton).

Yes, these days it's hourly, $100 for high hand and $50 for second place high hand. Monte Carlo board for royals and quads down to 9s (I think).

They've also got a bad beat, quad 8s beaten to qualify, but it's really small right now because it was hit twice last week.

For limit also check out Palace Lakewood (not related to the MT Palace, strangely). 3/6, 4/8, and 8/16. They're in BravoPokerLive which is nice. Also got a pile of jackpot/promos going, but I couldn't give you the details.
