That could be very interesting. Any rumors on how many tables it's going to be?

Ill believe it when I see it, I have heard about this for ages along with the Snoqualmie poker room expansion. But this EQC poker thing has become a legend..lol

Let's face it: Snoqualmie is the nicest casino in the state. I'd rather not associate with the trailer trash, gangstas, and meth tweakers that seem to populate Muckleshoot and Tulalip.

Ok, the 300 max rule isn't the best but at least it keeps the fish from dying too quick.

Justinzee seems to be a sour apple. Just because you had a few bad sessions there doesn't give you the right to knock the place so badly. Instead of b*tching about it on a forum why dont you do something and tell someone? Believe it or not Snoqualmie will survive without your business. Enjoy the trailer trash and gangstas at muck and Tulalip...dont get mugged on your way out.

If you want your voices to be heard contact Linda Smith. She's at the top of tables/poker, the boss of bosses: Lsmith@snocasino.com

money is money and if trailer trash and gangstas want them to relieve them of it at the poker table, I dont really care, only color that matters is green.
I wont bs with you though Muckleshoot has a pretty sad group of people, Tulalip I will admit I havent been there in a long time but there wasnt alot of white trash or shady group of people like the ones that frequent Muck. As for Snoqulamie well, its located in one of the most affluent areas of the state. Nuff said

The EQC is opening up a poker room. I spoke to the shift manager and they are absolutely serious about it. They are redoing the non-smoking section in the back and you can go and check it out yourself.

The poker room should be opening spring time. I personally cannot wait.

I realize it's early but did they make any mention of what limits they are thinking about spreading?

hi, new here. Is the Thurs tulalip tourney still the best weekly in the greater Seattle area? How many runners can one usually expect?
Seattle Quote

Yes. Few months back it was around 100 runners.

EQC is non-tribal right? Can't run $500 max bet.

eqc is definitely tribal...puyallup indians.

non-tribal places can only have 15 (?) tables max w/a $300 max bet, so that definitely rules out eqc as non-tribal.

My contacts at EQC have told me they will have about 20 tables. Not having a poker room has really hurt their bottom line. Everyone knows poker draws in people to table games and slots, and they want to increase traffic.

From what I understand, it will be somewhat equal to the Muck's room, both in size and the games they spread.

But my guy told me they want to get a daily PLO game because it brings in a lot of action junkies. He couldn't say what limit, but implied they wanted to try and steal Sno's and Tulalip's game.

Can't say how much of this will really materialize, but it seems like some form of poker will be coming to EQC!

I have been hearing rumors like this for about 6 years. I hope your contacts know what they are talking about.

I've got it on pretty good authority from pretty high up that EQC isn't opening a poker room, nor do they have any interest in doing so.

So, don't hold your breath.

I don't know how "high up" your authority is so I can't comment.

But unless you've been to the latest tribal council meeting, I'm not sure who you are referring too.

I guess we'll find out next spring. Though I suspect if they're going to actually open a room we'll find out in the next few months when they hire a poker room manager.

How are the games in Muckleshoot these days? I haven't played there for years...
I heard they ran a 100/200 LO8/LHE last weekend. Anyone here played that game?

I don't play in it but I've seen it go. If you're interested in playing the bigger limit games I know the game who orchestrates them. PM me and I will give you his number.

I go there a few times a month for tournaments and I see 4-8LHE and 3-5NL running, or it could be 2-5NL.

Sno just updated its 5/10 structure.

Minimum $1000 BI, and players can buy up to 75% of the biggest stack.

I like the 75% rule but not having the min buyin at $600 may deter some random 2/5 players from sitting in the game.
