Question... My wife might be getting a good job in Washington state (Seattle). Do they block Internet poker in that state?

Played at Muckleshoot two summers ago and will be back in Seattle this summer. Didn't know about the other places but Muckleshoot seemed pretty slow. What's the busiest room in the area?

Is there still a transsexual dealer there named "[name removed]" who used to be a "[name removed]"? I really liked [name removed], but [name removed] used to tilt the **** out of me working on her lady's voice and the long nails on man hands.

It's been a long time for me...any good gossip would be great.

I just recently moved to Seattle. Which casinos have a decent amount of nl (spread limit) action? What stakes run on weekdays, weekends, how many tables?

Also could someone just briefly explain what spread limit means exactly because I am not entirely sure.

If there is a 3/5 game with a max bet of 500 is that per street, per bet, per pot?

The spread limit is that you can bet up to $500 on any street. Each street has a maximum of 1 bet and three raises. A blind counts as a bet. The $500 max doesnt effect the game very often if you are playing smaller than 5/10 or 5/5 PLO. It really effects the bigger NL and PLO games though.

5/10 runs at Tulalip on Thurs, Fri, Sat. At Sno on Mondays.
5/5 PLO runs Tulalip Thurs and Sat. At Sno on Tuesdays.
Not sure about Muck anymore.

Just look at the newest minutes listed on the provided link.

Basically they are considering raising maximum limits on card rooms to $100, but are concerned about gambling addictions, food and beverage resources, and the lack of interest in playing higher limits based on (incorrect) research of games spread at the indian casinos.

It doesn't talk about spreading higher limits for the indian casinos at all, except to mention that there is no demand for it, which is far from true in the indian casinos I frequent.

Note that since that law went into effect, nobody has been even arrested or charged with playing online poker, much less convicted.

Yes, it's annoying law that will prove more problematic if online poker is legalized and regulated at the US Federal level (as then any regulated site would likely be forced to ban Washington State residents), but as a practical matter, it doesn't affect your ability to play online poker in Washington state on Pokerstars or FullTilt.

I'll toss my unrelated question on here. I'm heading up for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend, staying in Seattle proper. Is there a convenient list of cardrooms that I can browse?

I'm mostly interested in LHE, 6/12-10/20, if that matters.

Will you have a car? If so diamond lils will have the most games in your range. It is a little bit south in renton (maybe 15 minutes from seattle). Most of the shoreline area runs 5-40 spread these days. Parkers has a 8/16 1/2 kill but probably won't run more than one table of it so you'll want to call ahead to see when it is running. Most of the indian casinos don't run limit above 4/8 most of the time. They might have a 10/20 memorial day weekend but i'd call ahead to make sure if you don't want to play NL or 4/8.

Someone else might have a list.

To Callipygian, I'll second the nod for Diamond Lil's, even though they only run one game within your stated limits. They have 4/8, 8/16 and 20/40. As Stabn said, the big Indian casinos run only low-limit besides their no-limit games.

Just to make sure I didn't miss anything ...

If I want to play no-limit (spread-limit) poker at the lowest level possible at a decent casino, Tulalip is the best bet since they offer 1-3 and it appears that Muckleshoot and Snoqualmie start at 2-5/3-5 -- is that accurate?

May 27th, morning. About an hour for the hearing then another hour or so for the rally on the steps of the capitol. They are giving out "poker is not a crime" tshirts. The theme is red, so wear red if you can.

Woah, I never realized that there are laws in Washington (and apparently a bunch of other states) against online poker. lolwtf

It would have been funny if I brought my laptop on a visit (I'm from California) and just booted up Pokerstars and have the police come knocking at my door. Well, at least in retrospect.
