Fortune has 20/40 at least almost every day based on checking the website often in the last month.

They're not getting O8 anymore.

Now I really wish I still lived there. Has WA Gaming gotten more reasonable about poker? We probably got the Fortune in trouble that time we pushed for triple draw, ha.

Supposedly they would only approve variants from Hoyle's Rules of Games and we talked the Fortune into doing TD because lowball draw poker is in there.

triple draw was one topic of conversation that night. we had a couple fortune dealers at the table. fortune didn't get in trouble, but they didn't help the future of triple draw elsewhere.

someone mentioned a possible $400 betting limit in the near future. i can't verify his sources.

Ace's Poker now open just down the street from the Red Dragon...same games pretty much, MUCH nicer room. Parking is mixed.

Eric Persson mentioned the $400 betting limit on the High Stakes Poker live stream. Implied it was likely in a matter of months.

What games / limits do they generally have?

that’s painful to watch. Baby steps.
Is that anti-500 guy a tribal member?

Aces is spreading the same games as RD.
1-3 NLHE
1-3 PLO
5-5-10 PLO when there’s interest

They pulled up a ninth seat for me last night! I returned the favor by busting $500 right away but ended with a W.

Kitchen is still under construction but they are offering all the microwaveable cuisine they can.

No clue, but you can literally see a hamster spinning a wheel in his head as he formulates his thoughts.

It's painful...and I think they should add a shot clock just for him to speed up the meeting.

I never played poker at a casino before. but i am very interested in start going to Aces Poker room.

Speaking about vegas casinos, i know in general theres alot of free amenities while playing at the casino.

how does it work in card rooms here? i guess in my case, speifically aces poker?

also, how is the parking situation? is it well lit area, close to the venue, etc etc? (I went to red dragon once to scope it out. the parking was dark,.)

can anyone speak on the kind of people that visits red dragon / aces poker? is it generally safe or are there often alot of altercations (either verbal or physical)

No, I meant alcohol. Some give water or other drinks for free.
I think it may be a law that they can't give away alcohol, at least it is in some states.

imagine the biggest piece of **** you ever had the misfortune of interacting with in your entire life. now imagine three to four dozen slight variations of that same *******, and they’re all slowly dying right next to you. that’s the ‘kind of person’ you’re signing up to spend three to four hours with. It’s great. Also totally safe and chill.

Played at Aces twice since they opened. Its way better than the dragon for parking. The room is just generally better.

How do I find private home games in my area?

The same way you find hot local milfs in your area

Since traffic was lighter than usual for the holiday I decided to drive past my three usual poker rooms to play in the Monday 8:30 AM Fortune $50 tournament. I arrived at 8:16 and was alternate #4. At 8:30 there were 15 alternates. I left at 9 am since no one had donked out as the blinds increased.

They had plenty of dealers for cash tables.

Do you know on average how many $50 morning tourney players stick around for cash game? 0 to 1.

Even after you drove an extra 30 minutes to play and waited another 30 minutes, you still rather drive home than play cash.

Yes, they're gonna feel horrible about missing your $15.

Yeah I'd you can't arrive early enough to make the main list just do anything else other than drive to Fortune because the concept of early reg for the only morning donkument in 100s of miles. This has been the case for a long time

It’s just Red Dragon. Nothing much different about it.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm the ******* per Seattle. If it was listed as capped on Poker Atlas or the website that'd be one thing.

Other than getting there at 745 on a normal traffic day...

Just telling you how it is. It makes perfect financial sense as a casino to cap it. No dealers really want to deal tourney tables, and none of the donkament players do anything but play and leave.

Scheduling an extra dealer for 1 more table that’ll last an hour, so someone like you can get in is just bad business. Once the table breaks, what are the extra dealers gonna do? Having 1 or 2 extra dealers makes sense as they can work them into break schedule when players trickle in as day goes on, but having 3 or 4 more, so the donkament alternates can play make no sense.

If you run a cardroom, you wouldn’t care much about $50 daily tournament players either.

I thought the entire point of having low buy in morning tournaments was to get them over quickly and get the players in cash games.

If they're not staying to play cash, the casino shouldn't even have the tournaments.
