Re: Seattle

Happily chopped the $400 Muckleshoot Spring MTT up for just under $10k.

I was impressed by Muckleshoot overall. Hotdog bar on all breaks (early) and a selection of morning danishes/pastries and followed that up by an Asian Buffet at 4:30.

Overall, I played 14 hours and very rarely saw dealer mistakes etc.

Seems like Muckleshoot is doing a lot of good things to drive people back.

Re: Seattle

Right...except you missed the part that Muck is raking 20%, so if there were about 300 entries, Muck raked $24,000.

I suppose those hot dogs, pastries, and Asian buffet is totally worth the $24,000.

Re: Seattle

Happily found a $100 bill while sitting in a honey bucket. Was there for about 20 good minutes but was impressed by the smell, cleanliness and overall comfort. Seems like honey buckets are doing lot of good things to drive people back. I’ll definitely be returning.

Re: Seattle

To get to the honey bucket, you have to walk through a maze and for about 10 minutes, and oh ya endure the awesome smell of wide open space in an Indian casino.

Re: Seattle

which is the equivalent of taking the whole tournament pot down for themselves every 5th tournament.

if they told you they would take no rake but say put out 4 kings and an ace in a pile and let the winner draw a card. and if it was the ace him and all others got nothing. how many do you think would sign up for that tournament.

Still a lot would, because they know there are 400 suckers and they are one of the 100 "skilled" ones.

Just pointing out that Muck is not doing much.

Re: Seattle

$146,000 a week in HH for 2 weeks eh?

Almost $300,000 in HH prizes for the anniversary and this is pretty much running after all the previous "best in Seattle" HH promotions.

I mean...how do you keep the lights on?

Re: Seattle

We at Fortune Poker just want to say thank you to all of our valued guests and give a special shout out to the folks here at 2+2 for continuing to help us make the room the best it can be.

We know we go backwards with these high hands but that is kind of the point! It's okay if we have to pitch in a little in an effort to show our appreciation to the local poker community. Fortune Poker will continue striving to be the best poker room in the state and we continue to seek and utilize constructive feedback from all stakeholders.

Thank you again,

Fortune Poker

Re: Seattle

That’s awesome. I can honestly say Fortune cares more about what it is they do than any poker room I’ve ever been to.

20-40 mix game is now being spread at Red Dragon. The dealers are still getting used to it and there all still some procedural kinks they need to work out but it’s great game. They even have plaques and everything!

Re: Seattle

Went to Fortune Poker room for the first time this weekend. Super friendly staff from floor to the dealers and wait staff. Chip runners were quick, wait staff was always available and dealers hardly made any mistakes. I really enjoyed my time there and will be back.

Couple of suggestions for owners. Put up a divider between the urinals in the men’s room. Also didn’t see any hand sanitizer stations around the room. Also need to get the hotel next door to go half’s on a bridge to gap that chasm for out of town players that stay there. The walk around takes too long for us lazy poker players

Overall a great place to play and would recommend it to all.
