Rumor has it...

DEA/ATF is about to complete large scale investigation of local poker rooms. Muckleshoot chip change recently is linked to this investigation.

Triad... linked to Seattle Wholesale companies.

source: Muckleshoot Dealers and Floor Staff involved... Traid links... end of jackpots at Muckleshoot.

Human Trafficking *

Money Laundering *

Loan Sharking *

via Buddha aka RR ...

Investigation is said to have linked massive money laundering via local Seattle poker rooms with organized groups posing as "professional poker players"

More to the Story of Muckleshoot downsizing or closing permanently.

Will be interested to see if 14K has used Muckleshoot and Fed's are closing in on the group.

True or not add this to the endless number of reasons why you’d never want to play at the Muck.

If this is true it should interest Fortune considering a number of 3/5 regs have moved over there some time ago.

Sorry, i am still very new to slang for live poker.

what does the rake/promo structure mean when told like that? does it simply mean max rake of $4 per pot and max of $3 for promo drop per pot?

In fortune news, there's a brand new pallet to cross the ditch with. Wonder how long it'll take to decompose - 3 months?
This is embarrassing. Can they not figure this out? I hate having to cross it so much that I just don't stop to play cards when I see the main lot is full.

I mean, they figured it out, they built the walkway down by the street

This is insanity, can anyone confirm this rumor?

Doesn't even make much sense how it would find its way here.

Fortune tournies cancelled this weekend. Pallet bridge is gone.

Good luck to people going home, i left at 11 and it was white knuckle driving to get to 405, but my car sucks in the snow.

I don't see a bridge ever being built between Fortune and the hotel property. The hotel doens't want people parking in their lot in the first place. Then everything would have to be up to code. Building costs, permits, etc. This starts adding up. I would guess $20,000 or more.

Fortune wouldn't pay to build a path and ramp to make the rear door, by the 20-40 game, a fire exit (which I believe it should be). The estimate for that was $16,000. At least that is what I heard.

I park in the overflow lot and just walk on the sidewalk. Then move up when the lot thins out.

I can't make it there in this snow. Good time to hit high hands if you can make it with fewer players. Good luck!

Hi all:

I’ll be traveling to Seattle from the east coast at the end of February and am looking for advice on where to find PLO games. Any recommendations for $1/3 or $2/5 PLO?

It looks like there are lots of casinos south of the city, but I don’t really know where to start. Advice appreciated!

Actually you need to go north:

Are there any betting caps in PLO from Washington state laws?

IE like the $300 Max bet in NL?

$300 max bet in non-tribal is all across the board in every game including pit.

Casinos can choose to have lower max, but not higher.

Thanks for the responses. Does anyone have any experience playing at Tulalip? It looks like they spread a $5/5 PLO game - could be good. Tulalip appears to be ~45 minutes north of Seattle.

Also what’s this about max bet? You can only bet a max of $300 if I’m reading it correctly?

Appreciate the info so far!

$500 max bet in Tulalip and Muckleshoot.

A lot of same 5/5 players play in Dragon. Bigger PLO pool in Dragon than Tulalip.

It's doing Omaha 8 high hand on Fridays, not PLO.

Fortune does not spread PLO.

You know what's better than PLO high hand? PLO without dropping jackpot. Dragon does that.

What kind of winrate do you guys think is possible at fortune with the spread limit rules? Lots of bad regs and high hand hunters... 10bb/hour max not counting the promo? If that?

I just saw a Reg I know post a screenshot of his poker income on Facebook and he’s running at 14 bb/hr playing mostly 1/3 I believe.

Edit: I’m sure that counts promo returns, as all win rates should.

Second Edit: over 1200+ hours

But why? And if it's to boost his ego, how reliable is the chart?

$300 max BI, can't move table without chipping down, bunch of short stackers, $7 dollar rake/jackpot combined...

All of which are negative EV to one's WR.

If he still ended with 14bb/hr, he's probably closer to a 20bb/hr winner. Too good to just be playing 1/3.
