If what you assume is true then yes, you are correct. At first read I thought he meant made a pair by "connected card" but looking at it again I believe you're probably right. So basically Steve you misused the term wrap twice. Preflop that's a 9 hi probably connected possibly suited run-down hand. Post flop I don't know what it is but it's not a wrap.

Also I think you guys need to take it easy on AKQJT. For anyone whos never played against him IRL he's like a poor mans version of Russell Crowes character in A Beautiful Mind. He's Highly Intelligent(no sarcasm), but seemingly always bothered by something or other...

Dicks is actually open later than McDs too. I've always appreciated the 24 hour McDs by Muckleshoot when coming home at 3:30 in the morning. Live saver

Clarification: Dude UTG makes it 100pf after someone else made it 20 with something like 6789. Flop was face card, face card, 7. Dude checked flop, called jam by button for $200. Turn was another middle card giving him a straight draw, and he rivered the straight. Dude was nursing a beer.

I've only played PLO a few times live, and 20 or so hours in the .10/.20 games on globalpoker.

Regarding mcdonalds, as long as they have $1 quarter pounders I'm taking advantage. Dicks is fine, but pricier in comparison (to $1 QPCs) and I don't enjoy their fries.

Someone ordered a burger at RD while i was there and it looked fine. I'll be going back to RD to see what the PLO games are like on weekends. For a Monday it was a juicy game for sure. I went because the O8 at Fortune was full and didn't feel like hold em.

Plus the tip about the juicy game from earlier in the thread. I played RD a few months ago and lost a couple of buyins to PLO sharks.

One guy left the table with 3k in chips, at a 1/3 game. He seemed to be spicy as well, winning a 200 pot with runner runner two pair A2.

I did google what a plo wrap is, turns out there's 4 or 5 kind of wraps. Duly noted!

Not sure why I am even engaging with you.
Because you're a troll.

The dealers have been zero indication of that to my knowledge.

I'll have to give Dicks a fair shot and will report back afterwards.

Fair warning, disapproval of Dick's is the sole thing that will make you a leper to Puget Sound area natives.

Oh it's okay. I've embraced my villainous role by routinely cheering for any team the Seahawks are playing.

Here’s the jersey I wore on my way to winning the $300 NL event in the Muck Spring Classic this year:

Probably not, it’s just a local staple of tasty, greasy burgers. I highly doubt if I didn’t have the memories of growing up here with them that I’d ever think they’re as good as they are.

Whatever case, please post your experience to confirm / deny that I'm a sociopath for preferring McDonalds over Dicks.

There are those that think White Castle is the nuts, whereas most would think White Castle over anything is crazy...

Starving children would reject White Castle.

I didnt know the Dick's chain existed until 2014.

I love hamburgers so much.

I label Dicks as "OK".

I just checked the Northwest Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, and stating McD > Dick’s is an valid symptom to make that diagnosis.

I pretty much only go to Dick's when I am hammered, and yes, it is excellent when you are hammered. I have never brought home Burgers to do a side by side analysis, but at two in the morning when you are ripped and with a bunch of your friends, it has never happened that someone suggests going to McDonald's (or if it did happen, it was not endorsed and didn't get any traction). But if someone say's "Let's go to Dick's" it will get a unanimous set of rousing approvals.

Also the fries look whack but they taste better than McD fries.

Can’t post it from my phone for some reason but I was sent a photo from dragon last night. They’ve enforced betting line rules is the net / net and posted it on TV screens for both dealers and players to be aware. Kudos to them.

McDonalds with the app coupons is pretty amazing if you like eating Big Mac's and their fries (which I do). Right now you can get a free medium fry with any purchase every Friday. I usually won't even pay for fries there, since they seem kinda overpriced compared to $1 chicken or cheeseburger. But the free medium fry offer is basically a $1 lunch offer (chicken + med fry for $1)

Today I got a free Sausage Mcmuffin with egg (valued at ~$4) simply by spending a dollar (on a dollar McChicken). Daily, you can get a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, or Fish Filet for $1.

Dick's Deluxe > Big Mac in general though, and the Deluxe is even a couple dollars cheaper if you're spending full price on a big mac.

Dicks also has good shakes which they make with the 6 flavors of real ice cream that they sell on cones or sundaes.

Both places have amazing fries IMO. Some people will like Dicks fries more.

Could someone elaborate a little more and break this down Barney-style for me? What does net / net mean? I'm used to playing at Fortune. What differences in rules do I need to be aware of if I go to Red Dragon. I stricly play NL/Spread Limit.

Also. Today, I'm bringing my family to Dick's and will give my final verdict. I'd give McDonalds burgers 5/10 and fries 8/10. BTW, BJs have the best fries around and their ribs are the bees knees.

Went to Dick's yesterday not knowing what to expect. I was surprised how good their fries were and would give them a 9/10, equal but different than McDonalds. I can see how people would prefer one over the other. Their burger were pretty average, a 6/10, slightly better than McDs burgers. I would give a 7/10 if you could custom order burgers there instead of having to scrape off the stuff I didnt want. I understand Dick's is loved for the experience and novelty, but having a few more choices of burgers would be great imo. Overall, I wasnt disappointed. I'd probably choose Dick's over McDonalds if I wanted a burger, but couldn't fault anyone for liking one over the other.
