I wish the 2/20s were 2 or 3-40. Thats a nice red chip game, not a rack of white game.

More than spreading, Tulalip is promoting 2/20 through 2/20 exclusive high-hand PSJ funded payouts. How ironic. Remember when you would go to the Tribal casino for higher-stake games?

Few recommendations for Red Dragon:

1. Food - both Fortune and Caribbean have decent food and very well priced. Dragon's food is more expensive and does not look visually appealing.

2. Table 7 - maybe just eliminate that table altogether? It's just horribly placed.

3. HH board - what's with posting people's entire name including last name? Is it even necessary to post name?

things like 1, and 3, can sink a cardroom. it shows they are not tuned into players.

The service in the bar area is AWFUL. My name was called for my seat and I told the bartender I needed to close out. There was only one other person at the bar counter and it took the bartender 10 minutes to give me my check. The food is mediocre and very much over priced. and that is me being generous...

The poker room needs better spacing and the floor people need to get their act together. There were multiple times throughout my session where a player busted and the seat remained empty for 15 minutes despite there being a wait list. We had to remind the dealer that we lost a player in order to get the floor to slot someone in.

I am glad that the north end has a poker-specific card room, but the management really needs to get their **** together.

Arrived at Red Dragon at 7:30pm on Friday night.

Put my name down for 1 to 300 spread and 4/8 Omaha. Waited 1 1/2 hrs to see my name move up 3 spots for 300 spread and 1 spot for 4/8 O. Left without playing around 9:15pm.

I railed one of the 300 spread game about 15-20 minutes. Seems like game of nits and small pots. 1-20 spread game was soft. Saw several hands where initial raiser to 20 fold to a reraise.

Food looks kind of bad, specially asian foods. Not visually appealing...

I did noticed the full name being displayed on the HH board. I thought that was bit weird as well.

Tried again for Sat night but walked out after seeing the wait list.

1/3 game can be kind of nitty, especially in a room not used to spreading it. Keep in mind that a lot of players came from Hollywood, and 1/3 was a BIG game in that room and only spreads on Friday nights.

Funny I saw a 2/20 table had a ~$250 pots with bunch of white chips and it was T4o 2-pair beating T7s with TP. People don't realize that 2-20 game playing like $20 limit game can be a lot bigger than just about any low stake NL/spread game.

i used to figure that the limit game of 5 times the big bet was about the same sized game as a no limit one of the same size big blind.

in other words a 5/10 no limit would be about like a 25/50 limit game.

Tried the food today and witnessed others taking few bites and tossing them.

Food is confirmed BAD - not overpriced, just plain BAD for any price.

Who won the bad beat at Fortune? ...... ..... ..... it hit in the middle of the night and no one knows?

Do you know the stats on two Omaha bad beats being dealt in less than 24hrs via random shuffler?

a surprising number of bad beats seem to hit at funny times when the place is less crowded.

Bad beats can only hit in off hours because they don’t qualify during HH promotions.

NEW MENU AT FORTUNE

Margarita Flatbread 10
California Chicken Flatbread 10
Fortune Tater Tots Bowl 8
Salmon Satay 10
Loaded Gorgonzola Waffle Fries 8

Reuben Sandwich 10

Lemongrass Deep Fried Basa Fish 14
Lemongrass Chicken Salad 12
Ca Quay Fried Chicken Soup 12
Bahn Uot Cha Lua 12

Stir Fry Broccoli Tofu 12

Two new fried potato dishes.

Old flatbreads and nonbeef sliders were 86d. Don't think much else was removed.

Also, high hand jackpots at Fortune are clearly part of a conspiracy.

The reuben was fantastic. At only $5 it rivals the Fortune Burger for value.

Very high quality meat and deliciously salty, cheesy and garlicky so don't order it at last call when they take drinks.

Only downside would be the fries. They were fine, but I prefer the steak fries. Again, for $5 this is a home run and bodes well for the other new items.

I'd also say the reuben is also a fine value at full price, $10, given they don't charge for soda. Do they charge for soda if you're dining in and not playing poker?

They also added two new desserts, tiramisu and a chefs sampler.

Had to do it again. Same great experience, and the server offered me a choice of steak or skinny fries.

Fortune's menu has evolved (they even tried raising prices once), but they realized that offering cheap good food = more people in the house paying rake.

This is a big sammy. End up taking 1/2 home. Very good the next day, 10 sec in the microwave BAM

The Tulalip used to have some quality good food. The pot roast dinner and club sandwich are two examples. The salmon caesar was close to great.

Looks outstanding. With food like this the Fortune certainly must have many rotund dealers.
