Great thing about most poker rooms in Seattle is that whining is minimal, except of course in the lowest stake of limit poker, and most rooms actually provide some value of social interactions. These social interactions will keep the players coming back and games alive.
I agree. My games is 1/3 or 3/5 and the social side is fun and one reason I play.

thesendit - that's very laughable considering games "do break" and "table changes" do happen.

In my instance I checked poker atlas and it went from 5 games with a full list to 3 in less than 1hr after my table broke.

This is a pattern not a conspiracy thus a trend and something that could be addressed.

Regardless, it's obvious that certain rooms have trolls rolling around 2+2.

As I stated I travel and play poker extensively and any objective person would see what is happening and point it out or be more concerned.

2+2'Lolz.

Pls update thread with list of known trolls and their affiliation. We need to keep this thread clean.

What does 2plus2lolz mean?

I find it strange that visitors to Washington are so offput by our poker room rules. We are the only state where playing online poker is a felony, so why would you expect things to operate the same as elsewhere

The irony is the Tribal casinos were very-much behind the passing of this law. So short-sighted. On-line poker builds a pool of players that drives increased numbers in the brick and mortal poker-rooms. New sheep for shearing. What college football is to the NFL, on-line was to live poker. And the Tribals killed this feeder system.

I am not sure if because it was true in 2003, it is still true in 2017.

Has online poker increased traffic in Vegas and Atlantic City, the two states that it is legal?

Online poker is legal in a lot more places than those two--I believe in all the other 49 states, though I could be wrong. See the legal forum for hundreds of longer discussions of this topic.

It's more accessible in those two places because they can run intrastate online sites from there. But this wouldn't be a very good natural experiment because there are so many confounding variables. For example, AC has suffered from the steady growth of legal poker in Pennsylvania. It would be hard to disentangle those two causes.

New menu at Fortune. Food prices have been raised across the board, $1-2 per item.

Fortune Burger was $12 now $14
Vietnamese B-Fast Sandwich was $6 now $8

I'd like it if the sticker prices for food items were somewhat realistic, these are Starbucks prices now.

Prime rib now offered on Saturday 4pm.

edit: The Friday 1/3 games were pretty bad. For some reason a bunch of nitty lot i recognized from other rooms were hibernating on the 1/3 tables. Ick

New Items at Fortune:

Pesto Ravioli $16
Chicken Marsala $16
Moco Loco $12
Prime Rib Dinner $26
Flatbread pizza $14
Chicken lettuce cups $12

Asian menu seems the same except for the prices.

Edit : Sunday 1/3 is infinitely better than on Friday

Wow, those prices are ridiculous. I've yet to try the food there. I played 1/3 most of daytime Sunday, may have played at your table. The last 2 Sundays I've played the games have been good.

The prices reflected on here are the prices for take out. If u are eating in the poker it is half price. For example the Loco Moco is 6$. My favorite of the new items is the chicken Marsala which is just 8$ after the half off. Also the portions are really big. Most people order and have to either box half of it or share with a buddy.

Is the Seattle area's cost of living really so low that you guys generally pay less than $16 for chicken marsala?

Complaining about food prices in a casino is almost as bad as a bad beat story.

You're right, I must be one of those trollz you were mentioning that you never clarified when asked about. Keep feeding that ego though, one passive aggressive comment at a time. Lame

Depends on which part of Seattle. In Renton, $16 for any single dish would be high.

Yup... definitely Renton haute cuisine. Just ask the new bald ex-Tulalip Fortune dealer. He hails from Renton.

Fortune Poker or Muckleshoot are your best bets (near the airport). The closer you get to Bremerton, the further away from poker you will be and those will still be your best choices. They are both about an hour from Bremerton. Muckleshoot is a full scale casino, while Fortune Poker is strictly a poker room. Depending on what game your wanting to play, one may be better for you than the other.

Thank you very much indeed. I am now told that I'll likely take a ferry from downtown to Bremerton.

Anything downtown?

warlock, map out Fortune and Muck. Could be close enough for you.

Hideaway might be a little closer if you are downtown. Also a cardroom. Not as many options as fortune or muck

Hideaway may be technically closer but it's a dump in Shoreline trap city.

Drive the extra 20 mins round trip to Fortune or the Muck.

I'll be there Sunday to Sunday! (just in time for that 7pm big o tourney) It'll be farmers and pdx grinders primarily, with randoms from Seattle, Spokane, Boise, Bend, etc.

Hopefully they don't have $16 dishes or I'll be heading home.
