LOL...

Quote:
One guy whoops support after he yells that Fortune is racist.
WTF is whoops support, and who yells at Fortune? The guy who whooped support or the black guy?

Quote:
Walks towards the middle of the room. Some guy says something, black guy starts throwing punches... RIGHT AS THE COPS ENTER THE ROOM!
Who walked toward middle of the room? Which guy said something, same guy that "whooped" support? How many guys are there? LOL...

Quote:
None of the other black folks stopped playing or left in solidarity, other that whoever whooped support, race unknown. About a half dozen
Still, WTF is "whooped"? So the whooped guy is of unknown race and there are half dozen of such guys?

I guess my biggest question is really WTF is whooped?

Black guy claimed Fortune is racist.

Some guy yelled something supporting Fortune.

Black guy and Some Guy meet in middle of room, black guy throws punches, cops show up

None of the six black guys left with the black guy who got arrested

Some guy is of an unlnown race

whoop [(h)wo͞op]
NOUN a loud cry of joy or excitement.
VERB give or make a whoop:
"all at once they were whooping with laughter"

Omaha 4/8 hi lo is going strong at Fortune. 3 tables tonight.

I wish they'd improve the monte carlo so that it hit at least once every couple of hours or so. No one hit anything on the monte tonight, so thats 5 hours of rake with no payout.

Yeah, I don't like the low part. Which places run these?

I played 3/5 at Muck tonight. I just cannot believe how much everyone freaks out as soon as there are two, God forbid 3 empty seats.

Oh, and had the craziest thing happen. Limped pot including guy who has already proved himself to be a historically super whale in short time. I flopped trips on button. He lead out, I raised and he called. Turn comes, he checks I bet 150. He cuts out 150 and then stares at me for a bit. Soon, in about literally a minute, the ****ing dealer calls clock, and bam, floor insta starts counting down only 30 seconds! Dude is pissed by this and is bitching until time expires. I've never seen such a thing.

That sounds terrible, unless the guy is a reg who regularly takes forever.

Hit my first ever live royal Saturday at Muck. I have needed a water resistant fall/winter jacket for years now, so I had been dying to hit one (for those who don't know, you get a Port Authority coat with Muckleshoot Casino Poker Room on the breast for a royal). The Monte Carlo and high hand didn't hurt either...came home and handed my wife $100 which buys me a few more weeks of leaving her with the kids while I play =P

I heard people discussing a 30 second clock at the next table over from me...wonder if that some new policy or something? Or maybe something from one of the several new dealers?

Everything that happened here is a sign the action players have been turned into promo chasing nits. Troubling sign for the poker economy I must say.

Is it pot limit BigO in the mix? Can you share more details? Stakes, games, rake, etc.

Last time I was in town (about 10 months ago) 5/5 pot limit big o ran at the Muckleshoot on Friday and Saturday nights. I guess this is no longer the case? thanks so much for any info, it's most helpful!!

The 2/2 PLO runs on Saturdays at the Tulalip. Its tons of fun and is literally your only option for trying out low limit PLO in the area.

Come on and check it out! See Bravo.

Poker Atlas is more updated than Bravo, makes sense for the switch.

Bravo is such an ancient system that I am surprised it took this long for a competitor to come in.
