Looks like a 2-40 game is running! God I hope that's a regular thing.

I thought all you guys were saying you hoped there would be no spread limit games.

I did not say that. I've been looking for such a game. 3-20 I'll pass on, but I like the 40.

I'm just arriving, parking seems to be an issue. I had to park on the opposite side of the neighboring Clarion.

You want to see what spread limit will do? Check out Shoreline.

Room is beautiful. New cheques are lovely.
I asked the floor, he said the 2-40 I saw on the app earlier was there in error.

I thought it was pretty decent room, nice decor, open ceiling, decent lighting, great bar and restaurant space, above average restroom, and good enough space to walk around the tables.

If you enjoy limit games, this room will probably be the premier place to play.

We agree. I hate and refuse to play 2-20 but enjoy 2-40. What I would really like to see is a regular night-in night-out is a 2-100 game. Heard the non-tribals can now spread a $200 game......is this true? Even better would be 2-200.

STEVE420 'S REVIEW OF FORTUNE CASINO

I checked out FC on a Thursday afternoon. Here are the highlights:

- Their Southwest Bacon Burger is the best poker room burger I've had in 20 years of experience. Hand-formed patty, not frozen, bacon, bbq sauce, onion rings, FANTASTIC VALUE FOR $6 + TAX

- Parking lot was filled to capacity at 5pm. I parked across the street

- GAME: I played 4/8 limit for 2 hours and lost a rack. I was the youngest at the table pushing 40. I prefer 2/20 spread or 3/5 NL over limit 4/8 or 3/6 and would not look forward to playing the people at my table in the future.

- COMPS: They don't log you in. Food comp is 50% off the menu, which for the burger I mentioned above is a steal.

- SERVICE: I ordered the burger with a diet, I didn't get the diet to start with as is custom when ordering a drink, it came ~15 minutes later with my meal. So mediocre server

- DIET SODA SCORE: 5/10. Not horrible, not that great. Undercarbonated.

- ALCOHOL: no one was drunk or drinking

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Nice room, good burger, lots of people, however the limits spread I don't find exciting so I'll probably continue to patronize Wizards, the Muck, Maybe Tulalip for 5/5 PLO in the future.

This place is ~7 minutes from my job, so perhaps that is for the best....

The half off food is temporary until they can get all the comps and related things sorted out. No draught beer tonight, but they will be adding it.

Looks like maybe I'll be dealing 15-30 O8 today.

I concur on the burger.
One of the best burgers I've ever had.

I played about 4 hours at Fortune yesterday. Room was nice- new tables, new chairs, brand new chips, etc. Dealers were all competent, and the floor staff did a very good job of keeping tables filled and the list moving in a pretty hectic environment.

My table was full of LAGtards who just would not quit catching cards. Insert multiple bad beat stories here. If I could have made any hands stand up I probably could have retired. Instead, I won maybe 6 or 7 pots in 4 hours. Sigh.

Muck is still home, but I can see mixing Fortune in, especially if they have high hand promos on Saturdays and other prime times. I wonder how Muck will react to that?

I played there last night for the first time.
Good things:
o Lots of 4-8 and 8-16 limit games to choose from.
Table-mates are coming so dealers won't have to scream their lungs out for service, chips and rulings.
o Beautiful room, tables and chairs.
Negative things:
o Incorrect lighting - hearts look like spades because of the type of bulbs
o Very noisy - no attention was paid to adding curtains to the walls to reduce the noise
o High Hand board can't be seen from tables in the alcove corner of room. Dealers were always asking what the current high hand was.
o Disorganized staff - the management still lacks quick and smart shift managers except for Nick on graveyard shift.
o They have allowed back in some players that should be barred for life. We all know who they are.

Finally made it just now. Not too much more to say that hasn't been said. It's gorgeous. Just to be picky, the only thing clearly worse than Lil's is the Gemaco cards rather than Kem. Otherwise I'm very pleased and will make the trip down here more often than I did for Lil's despite the greater distance.

4/8 looks like mostly DL regs. I'm in the 8/16, only a few DL regs I recognize. Game is about like the daytime Lil's 8; two chops in a row followed by a 5 way raised pot.

About to try the cheeseburger....

Good call- I noticed this as well. Was wondering if it was just my eyes going bad!

Yes, I noticed that. My first hand was A6o, but I initially thought it was suited and was grabbing for raising chips, then folded. Lol

Also, no one has mentioned yet, but I saw on the front door, it said 18 years and older. Can get the high school kids rolling in after school, lol.

Does anyone know if 15-30 O/8 is going at Fortune right now? The Lils app appears to be done.

Hitting it up this afternoon for the 1250/hr high hand. Burger is amazing as everyone has said. Also their Vietnamese food looks good. I had the pork meatball sandwich which I enjoyed.

Impressive start for Fortune with lots of games/players. Competition like this is exactly what is needed...push the Tribal poker rooms. The north-end needs a Fortune.

Well they did(Parkers obv) then The Palace in Mountlake Terrace gave a worthy try but yes, having to choose between the Hideaway and Tulalip for fast and furious action leaves much to be desired.

Has the max bet for non-tribal poker been raised to $200? A Tulalip dealer (a knowledgable one) told me this was the case.
