You should tell them that Ray!

By way of introduction, remember when you visited the MGM Vegas Casino in July 2008 to evaluate the MGM poker reservation system for use at Tulalip? I was playing poker there and we spoke at length about your mission. The WSOP was running.
They have their own app

I'm just a recreational player but this makes my head hurt. Someone from tulalip needs to tell us why the Thu-Sun players are funding the Mon-Wed jackpots. I'll just stay away on the weekends.

Played the 2/100 game at the Hideaway tonight for the second time. My report card is as follows:

The Good
+ Beatable game (not a surprise)
+ Competent dealers - for the most part
+ $2.50 draft micro-brews
+The Diamond, a forced pot-building live straddle. Three Diamonds were in the stacks at the table. Each diamond consisting of three nickels or $15 held together by a rubber band. The holder of the Diamond must use it when in first position as a live straddle. Nice pots are built with a table of chasers.
+ Cheap food
+ Rules are politely enforced to include cross the betting line with chips, English only, and no use of the cell phone while playing
+ Well place quality HD sets tuned to sport-channels

The Bad
- Long wait, only one 2/100 table
- Sketchy parking lot in the back
- So-so food quality

Of course the table had a very lucky drunk (an Icelander). But this is nothing new anywhere.

I will return to the Hideaway.

The parking lot is only sketchy if you're worried about being solicited for sex and sometimes drugs. Personally I feel much more comfortable walking out to my car w money in my pocket there than I do at Lil's.

Flashback...Parker's parking lot after dark was right out of a Steven King novel. Sketchy-squared.

It's an insanely beatable game and most of those guys are regs playing their biggest game.

However, that tax is drowned out by the large number of times my opponent cold calls my three-bet with 33 hoping to hit a jackpot and gives me great value. She'll miss a lot more than she hits.

Actually that factor alone might overcome the admin fee too, never mind getting more bad players in the room in the first place.

That's the point I was making.

I would say old Hideaway was a way sketchier parker lot. People got jumped on the regular or followed home. Maybe even Club Hollywood where someone was shot and they left all the blood in the parking lot. (not poker related).

I was actually there. He was followed his previous card room, he even had agreed to where they came from. He wasn't bleeding at all so he was allowed to stay and play. We didn't want to send him out the door so quickly for his safety.

Could you post your full structure on website or here so we can compare to other options?

I'm guessing so. Pretty good structure. 25/50 blinds. 7k to start. 20 minute Blinds first hour. 15 after that. Would like to see 20 throughout. Nice room. Very big open and bright. Some of the tables could use an update, felt a little loose, spotty, spongy.

Yeah, the regs I played with today were surprised at the low turnout, so I expect they get a bit more on a non holiday

If there's a guarantee what exactly is the problem with a low turn-out? The 15 min levels on the other hand...

dadz, please stop posting until you contact Bobo Fett. You're not allowed to advertise your room without 2+2's permission. Thanks.
