Are there any regular LO8 games running in/around Seattle these days? I'll be in SEA for a few days at the end of September. I also enjoy low-stakes LHE, and other HORSE games. Where I live now there are no legit live cash games at all, so I don't want to miss the chance to play.

Any tips/advice? I haven't seen a SEA thread here for a while.

I'm curious to where the best low NL games are in the Seattle area. I'm looking to move out there at the beginning of 2010 and want to know where I can play.

Indian casinos (muck, tulalip, snoqualmie). Max bet is $500 though so it isn't 'true' NL.

o8 I almost never see. Lils used to have a 6/12 game that always ran after the saturday tournament but that doesn't exist anymore. I've heard they were trying to one running again. I'd give them a call on the day you want to play and see if it is running.

The Crazy Moose Casino (Mountlake Terrace, north of Seattle) runs a 3/6 Omaha/8 with a full kill pretty much all the time. Starts up early in the morning, usually goes till midnight or later, usually full with a list.

Muckleshoot seems to usually have an LO8 game going, at least as of a few months ago. The HORSE (or maybe really a mixed game) at Iron Horse is probably still being spread on Sundays and Tuesdays. I saw a mixed game at Silver Dollar Renton a few weeks ago.

there are lots of places to play so make a list and hit a bunch as it will be a great experience as well as profitable if you play well.

Hit me up if you're looking for someone to go gamble with. I've been living here over a year now, but still have yet to play any live pokers after I heard about the 500 max bet rule.

Parker's in Shoreline purportedly spreads a HORSE game (most likely for couch change) on Wednesday? afternoons and a O8 $6-12 w/$10-20 kill on Friday nights. Call and ask, they're so desperate for business they'll prattle on forever about what games they're trying to spread.

Diamond Lil's is good for up to $20-40. The jury is out as to what Indian casino is the tits. Give all three a shot, they're all between 30-45 minutes away from downtown.

+1. It would be fun to meet up with some 2+2ers and terrorize the unsuspecting locals...

Bring it on, unsuspecting "2+2er". Let's see who terrorizes who.

Hey, I'm not challenging anyone. I'm just a bad player who thinks it would be cool to meet some 2+2 members and play some poker in the nearby casinos.

I guess for now I'll settle for an offhand "sup bro" and see if anyone notices.

Just got back from a fam vacation. We flew into Seattle and drove up to Vancouver, Can. Didn't stop but saw several casinos along the fwy heading north. RZee's advice sounds like a lot of fun.

This is pretty good advice. The Parkers $6-$12 game with a kill is pretty fun, fair amount of money on the table, maybe $3K+. Old men that play fairly well, but do chase, lot of regs that have disposable income and will keep rebuying if they go broke. I believe they also run a horse game on Saturdays as well.

As far as the Indian casinos go, I prefer Tulalip to Muckelshoot. Just seems like a nicer casino and you don't have to go to Auburn. Its not like its a real rough area compared areas in LA, the Bay or back east, but it seems that every time I hear about a gang thing or a murder or something, it is in south King County (Renton, Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, SeaTac ect.) or Tacoma, not in Seattle or north of Seattle although Parkers is on Aurora LOL. Have not been to Snoqualmie yet.

playing around seattle is fun and the casinos that have been around for awhile are run fairly well as can be expected.

I'll third the recommendation for Parker's. They've got a consistent schedule going now:
Mon: 10-20 LHE full kill
Tues: 10-20 LHE full kill
Wed: 6-12 Omaha8 10-20 kill
Thurs: 6-12 Stud8
Fri: 6-12 Omaha8 10-20 kill
Sat: 6-12 HORSE
The LHE games start at 2ish and tend to break early in the evening but I'm often there and am always pushing to get them to last but the old guys don't want to play short handed.

You should tell us the next time you are playing in the area so we can pretend we're El Diablo and buy you dinner.

Thur/Fri/Sat- Muckleshoot has a 4/8 w/kill O8 game going, sometimes 2 tables.

Muckleshoot was running a high hand every half hour on Sunday. ALL 32 tables filled to capacity (straight flush ftw...) and deep lists...pretty cool to see. I imagine games should be good tomorrow as well..

Impressed. Sat before last, Tulalip was barely 1/2 capacity 7:00 pm...

Sick action at the Muck last nite.. even at 1am both the front and backrooms were full... strangely they were only running one 5/10 table the list was like 30 long.. had to wait for SIX HOURS to get on it $500 high hand every half hour has something to do with it, but considering you're trying to hit the high hand vs 9x35 players it's a worse deal than the usual every hour when there's 10 tables. Every winning high hand was at least as big as AAAAx and mostly high straight flushes..

Tulalip (North) and Snoqualmie (East) are the top two IMO.
