I've never been, but apparently its closer than Fortune for me. I'll definitely check it out soonish and share my findings in the thread. Thanks for bringing this place to light!

Apparently there was another crazy game last night. $8 - 9k at the table.

Caribbean? If so, I'm pretty sure I know two of the players in the game. In my limited time with them, they drive the action and are usually pretty fun.

Perhaps this question should go in the internet poker section, but hoping local people may know more. Does ACR and ignition really not accept players from Washington State? That's what I found on those review sites, but I didn't read through all the actual terms of service. What happens if you put your address as Washington? They don't let you withdraw or what? Thx.

It’s written into the law that online poker is a felony.

It’s black and white.

Not legal advice*

No WA player has ever been charged with playing online poker. I have a friend that plays on Ignition with no issues. He only deposits/withdrawals using BTC and has never had any issues. He doesn't play high stakes so transactions are typically less than $2k.

Nevertheless, they cannot legally allow players from WA to register.

Many offshore sites still allow registry, deposits and withdrawals without issue. Play at your own risk imo

Does anyone think tulalip is going to have poker, if/when they get sports betting?

Doubt it. There is no longer a demand for people willing to drive that far.

Funny I used to make that drive up there from Eastside like it was nothing, but last time I drove out there, it felt as if I was driving to Canada.

I doubt Tulalip will ever have a room again based on what I heard from management when I use to play there but there were rumors that their new sister casino at Quil Ceda may evaluate opening a poker room.

My wife and I use to get a room there and I would play the MTTs and she would play the slots. I made it very clear to them we would not be back until they reopen a room. I think it's important for them to know that poker players don't just go out and play slots if they don't offer a poker room.

Anyone play at Palace? I've been thinking about playing again but the drive up to Fortune is a lot. Muckleshoot is.... well... I guess we don't talk about Muck anymore.

I just looked on a whim and it looks like Palace is spreading 1/3 and 2/5 "No limit" games. I assume these are spread limit (someone really should tell them to change this).

If anyone wants to share a report on Palace, I'd appreciate it. I've only played there a handful of times pre-COVID but if they really do have red chip spread limit games, that would be great.

Thx for info.

Everyone in WA knows that NL means $300 SL.

Palace is too far for me, but I have been told that it has great actions. If I live closer, I would play there over Fortune based on the information given.

Unless they get a sports betting app running, I’d be up there at least once a week and I’m sure other would too. I heard it’s highly unlikely that maverick gets sports betting anytime soon which is a huge bummer.

Palace has come up in conversation at the tables a lot this week, I guess I need to make a trip out there but tough to justify the drive when I live right next to Caribbean.

Are the 2/5 games at palace 500 spread limit or still 300?

300

Rule of thumb is that it's $300 everywhere in WA at this point.

Sports gambling seems pretty complicated and requires federal approval. Not sure if adding Mavericks would require the same approval.

I thought for sure the 5/10 that runs on Friday’s is 500 SL, but I must be making a mistake.

Fortune runs 8/16 and 20/40 daily. Often multiple tables.

Last Frontier in La Center, WA has daily 8/16 and either a 15/30 or 20/40.

It’s $300, same as all the other games.

Silly to call it a 5/10 when clearly it’s not. It’s only a good game in the sense that people buy in deep and don’t understand how to adjust in a game where max bet is 30bb.

Same with any PLO games in WA. It’s just not the same when you take away the big bets. That’s why I always kind of laugh when regs from these games tell stories of playing 5/10 or 5/5 PLO in Vegas.

Ah thanks, that makes sense. Yeah, I hear a lot of those stories too.
