Am I supposed to know why? It’s a screenshot of Poker Income. Unless he’s picking and choosing which sessions to enter or fudging his numbers, it seems legit to me.

Maybe he plays the 3/5 game there now? I dunno. I know he plays no limit almost exclusively at Fortune.

I’m just offering insight to the question posted. I’m not the guy’s manager.

Im at 12bbs/hr lifetime at Fortune in half the hours. Higher at 3/5 but Ive ran excellent there except literally two hands over about 80 hours. $250 high hands included, never won a 499 anything there.

Interesting that the Omaha game at Fortune now only fires on Fridays, the only promo day when it rain daily before. Sad that O8 players are such promo nits.

At Red Dragon, it looks like they've eliminated high hands and are doing a 3x Monte Carlo board? They're still running a regular O8 game it looks like.

Red Dragon still has high hands and also a 3x high hand board, but this is only for NLHE. It just depends on the day and time.

For O8 it is still just high hands and Monte board depending on time of the day. I believe it is 8am-12pm $50 high hands. And then 12-3pm Monte. Then 3pm - ??? High hands. And ???-8am Monte.

Basically it works out to about $50-$75/table being given away in high hands. And monte carlo in the off hours.

Ty for the info 10bb. I see RD has updated their site.

HOTT FORTUNE NOOZ: Starting Monday, when you qualify for a high hand, you are immediately eligible for $499 hhs - no more waiting until the next day!

It's going to be a spicy March

Hi, guys. I'm near Seattle and the only games really in my area are:

--a very fishy 4/8 limit game
--a 2-$10 spread game
--a rumored $3-$300 spread game

Are there any like 1/2 NLH without a cap? Other than that, what's the next best thing?

Thanks!

Lots of good options around.

Tulalip & Red Dragon is north of Seattle.
Fortune is south of seattle.

State law sucks here so no uncapped games but the 1/3 and 3/5 games at these locations are good games. They are called spread limit but play very similarly to NL.

Cool! Didn't know about any of this. What's the spread for the 1/3 game? Or I mean what's the cap? The website doesn't say.

I believe its $100-$300 for 1/3 with a $300 max bet which means you can bet $300, someone else can raise $300, someone can reraise $300 more. Most of the casinos allow 3 reraises each betting round (I think). So, typically the 1/3 plays exactly as a NL game should except rare occasions with multiple deepstacked players and large pots. If you have transportation i recommend going to Fortune poker. Great games, staff, & food.

Cool, thanks for explaining all that.

Is Fortune Poker the one in Renton? It's about an hour drive for me. Do you think that's what most people commute for just a game?

It depends where exactly youre staying. All 3 of the rooms I mentioned are gonna have a 1/3 game running but Fortune (yes in Renton) has the best bonuses and room in my opinion. If you are closer to Tulalip or Red Dragon Id just go to wherever is closest.

I was looking for local poker tourneys and noticed a few things on Muckleshoot's website I was unaware of, so thought many of you may be unaware as well.

1. Due to their expansion, "please find poker inside Club Galaxy".

2. Progressive high hands every 10 minutes (looks to be daily):
1-3 Tables: $50
4-9 Tables: $150
10+ Tables: $250

3. Get Paid to Play (cash games only):
$50 for 20 hours
$110 for 40 hours
$180 for 60 hours
$260 for 80 hours
$350 for 100 hours

Now all us break even players can make $5/hr this month...

You're right but for some reason on the website it says "$5 per hour for 100 or more hours". Im not sure how to interpret that since it doesn't add up on the $ per hours values they listed.

No poker, but cigar wise, nothing beats BJ's cigar lounge. I went there 3 months ago and they helped me pick out a fantastic cigar from their very impressive collection. It was laid back, and a great place to kick back.

I have to mention though, that the cigar I bought started to crack a bit. The host hopped on it pretty immediately and hooked me up with another on that I was eyeing earlier for free.

Between the service and the environment, wouldn't smoke anywhere else.

Rather take the chance at $499 than $5 an hour

Every hour over 100 hours earns you $5.

The first 20 hours nets $2.50 an hour, the second nets $3.00 an hour, $3.50 for the third, $4.00 for the fourth, $4.50 for the fifth, and $5.00 beyond that.

Also, at 100 hours, you get credit for every hour... below 100 hours, you get set amounts at 20 hour increments. (They're paid out every Wednesday for the current month if you want to cash in as you go.)

so i go play 8/16 at fortune yesterday and after a while i notice that seat 1/3/ and 5 are all blatantly soft playing each other.

Kind of hard to miss when the 3 seat opens, folds to the 1 who defends in the bb, 1 seat flops top pair the hand gets checked down and the 3 makes Broadway on the river and checks the nuts to close the action. After that I asjed the 3 seat if they were playing on a team with the 1 seat. They respond by asking me if i am telling them how to play their chips. I look over to the dealer who looks me in the eyes and then just stares down at the table.

This continues to happen, on another hand all three of them see a flop and the 5 flops top and bottom and the hand gets checked down so I ask the five if they are all 3 playing on the same team. he shakes his head and looks down at the table.

Right then i get a call from a friend and i stand up to talk to him, which i do for 16 minutes and when i get back the floor had picked my chips up off the table. I ask them why and am told i missed three blinds so they picked me up. I have seen many people miss three orbits and not get picked up and for them to deal 2+ orbits in 16 minutes means they are dealing 8 and hour in a ring lhe game.

Dont think i am ever going back there

8-16 at Fortune is completely dead.

The regs definitely soft play each other but it’s more an indicator of a terrible game then it is of some diabolical plan of teaming up against you.

The three missed blind pick up is the policy for everyone so you have no ground for complaint there.

Next time you want to play 8-16 head down to Palace in Lakewood. The games are incredible and unlike Fortune everyone is laughing and joking and having good time.

Only time I've seen them not pick up chips after 3 orbits is if there's no list. No point of picking them up if no one is waiting to play.

Its unfortunate, but that type of softplay has been prevalent in low LHE games since I started flopping in this state 14 years ago. I also hate it, but decide it doesn't really matter to me if friends check down a heads up pot.
Seattle Quote
03-17-2019 , 10:19 PM
Yeah, that type of soft play does not indicate collusion.
If you're in the pot, what do they do?
Seattle Quote
03-17-2019 , 11:10 PM
rarely will decent players do that so it is to your benefit and can capitalize on them. you should be happy they soft play each other.
Seattle Quote
03-17-2019 , 11:10 PM
its not that they're teaming up against me, but they are not betting against their friends and are against everyone else, which obv includes me. That is by definition collusion which is cheating. The dealers know and do nothing about it. very black and white here. I can see how this would be hard to get rid of for the room, but it does not make it ethical and them turning a blind eye on it means they are ok with cheating. Ill just drop rake somewhere else.

If i missed 3 blinds then i should be picked up, it was just surprising bc to deal that many hands in 16 minutes is not the rate at which they deal, not impossible but not likely.

Ill check out palace. I played the 235 single re-entry monthly at red dragon today and that has a great structure for the buyin, soft field and a free dinner, not great food but it is free.

Fellow BH,

I'm pretty surprised you would expect something to be done about softplay like that. Do agree that it is "collusion". Granted I've mostly only ever played in WA and Las Vegas, but I've seen that exact level of softplay everywhere over the last 14 years and don't believe I've ever seen anyone so much as attempt to call the floor's attention to it. Just part of some games, imo. It does suck, agree.

16 minutes seems quick for 3 buttons, but possible in some of those nitty games where 30%+ hands are chopped blinds.

Also agree that if its 8/16 you're looking for you should check out the Palace. The few times I've played there in the last year were some of the loosest games I've played in. Frequently the pot has been 3 bet before cards are dealt. I should play more often but I find running cold in games like that particularly excruciating.
