Not really. If you ever played in any of those games, you would know that EV hourly of those games is relatively crap vs anywhere else in that level.

Is there something in the franchise agreement that Chik Fil A restaurants must be placed in awkward, hard to reach locations? Bellevue is a clusterf, Covington is impossible to reach while traveling east, and now jamming one into a tiny spot in Renton. That is going to a traffic nightmare.

Can't argue that point. I stick to 1/3 at Fortune because it's typically a more profitable game for me (and much more fun players).

Looks like hideaway is closing today. Anyone know the details? Were they ever able to establish a solid player base?

Visited the Muck recently after staying away for a long time. -- played in the 5/10 rather than usual 3/5. - noticed a few things i did not know

- Max buy is now 70% of the biggest stack.
- At showdown if there was no action on the river you show in order. (yay!)

The increase in buy-in for the game made a deeper game. -- table ran a stradle for a while and the game was very live and aggressive.

Thinking of checking pokeratlas more often and go down to the muck if there are 2 or more 5/10 tables.

Any new info on the possibility of the Muckleshoot poker room moving or downsizing? I remember some rumors earlier this year. I hope they keep it as is.

Rumor i heard is that the room is closing every night and re-opening at 10 am due to lack of players overnight.

Can't see how thats sustainable.

Not surprised by this -- with red-dragon nearby they would have had to compete head to head with their $250 / 15 minute HH jackpots, and they were not bankrolled to do that.

Are there any pan games left in western Washington? If so, where?

Anyone know if the new EQ is going to have a poker room? I’ve heard rumours, but I also thought they were perma-banned.

It’d be great if they ran some spread games, but.... well... trust issues.

The lists move pretty fast. 4 on 4/8 6 on 8/16 omaha open 9 on 1/3. I saw 2 open spots in the lot.

Todays the first day of Fortunes new promo, the $250/ $499 high hand deal.

Also the last hh of the year (midnite) is $2019 instead of $250.

Hello. I am going to play live poker for the first time in my life. Specially at the red dragon casino.

i was wondering things such as

1. how do you tell what the complimentary services are?

2. what their game promos are. and exactly WHAT they mean (monte carlo and high hands seems to be the only ones at this specific casino) and how to qualify

3. how table seating works. Such as changing seats on the same table, moving tables, getting your first table, leaving table, etc etc

4. breaks. getting dealt out for a hand or two. or even for a whole 30-60 min for a lunch/dinner break.

5. how to order. (I am going to assume this would be the exact same as in a restaurant. ask for a menu and order what you want?) Is there a better way than to wave down a server?

6. what stakes each table is at? .last week i went to simply observe. I had no way of telling what stakes they were playing. OFC i could tell whether it was PLO or NLHE. whether it was 1/3 or 2/5 etc. but i coudlnt tell which table was a spread limit, while which were no limit. I know in WA its illegal for true no limit. But i dont know what rules each casino follows.

thank you

1. see #6
2. don't worry about it. if you win, you'll know. https://red-dragon-casino-mountlake.com/promotions/
3. sit down and play poker. if you must move, they'll tell you. if you don't like your seat, ask for a seat change button. you will have the opportunity to move if a seat opens up. if you pass, then the guy with seat change button #2 gets the option.
4. there's no rule against a 60 minute break (right?), but if people are waiting for a seat, it's rude.
5. just ask for a menu. go from there.
6. there is a big screen with all the games listed.

Well, its not like you can just get up from your cash game for an hour at a time.

The most common rule is three missed blinds before you get picked up. If you step away right after your small blind (most get up right before it, actually) on a full table that would give you roughly 40-45 minutes. But as others have mentioned, it is generally considered in poor taste to get in a habit of getting up for that long.

In general, you can eat right af your seat utilizing a small side table on wheels.

The Washington State Gambling Commission has allowed the state licensed poker rooms to now charge a maximum rake of $4 per hand.

I realize that rooms have overhead but this increase will make the $4-$8 games in Washington State almost unbeatable.

I played at Fortune last night and nobody seemed to care.

I think the rake for a 4/8 game should be half of what the rake is for an 8/16 game.

Any thoughts?

thanks for your reply. I have some follow up questions if u dont mind

1. for points 1 and 6. do you specifically mean at the red dragon casino there is a screen that shows the complimentary offered? I went there last week and didnt see anything other than the sign that says "50% off for poker players" (or is that the only complimentary service at the red dragon casino?)

2. The reason why i want to know is because i dont want the smallest possibility of losing the chance at winning a game promotion due to ignorance. even if its 0000.1%

3. reason for 3 is that i have really bad eyesight. seat 5 is ideal spot for me. and yes, i do realize that some people that are nice will let me switch with them. but i prefer to not have to rely on that everytime and try to switch spots if a seat 5 is open somewhere.

4. definitely agree. thats why i want to know how it usually works so that i can try to be mindful.

5. thank you

6. same with part 1. I dont see the list in the gameroom. and i realize its listed on the website, but my main concern is knowing which tables are which (specifically spread vs NL) so that when looking at games i can know what game im spectating.
