However, except for the Hideaway in Shoreline, they are all pretty far from me. Are there any other good cardrooms that are nearby that I am no aware of?
Red Dragon is right there in Edmonds.

Tulalip is close.

Caribbean is in north Kirkland.

Those are your 3 best shots for poker game. There is also Hideaway on Hwy 99 as well.

to really make money in poker you need to find the place where the game suits your style of play and you get the best ev out of the game because of it. then thats where you need to play.

I got table share, $893. Winner of the bad beat JJ was a dealer off clock, royal was a reg in the blind. No room share.

Major props to the dealer for calling with JJxx!

I also had the $1 bag of popcorn from the cart outside the poker room. A bit stale but kept me satiated until taco time. The hot dogs looked underwhelming at $3.50.

No usb ports on the table. Cannabis store 10 minutes away. Wifi was decent/good.

Sat on your left and didn't make the lunch break Not sure I played terribly well, but I definitely ran bad. I hate that all but 10 or 12 tables at Muck don't have USB ports. It is such a player friendly option. One of the many things Fortune does better.

Hearing how many of you actually try to brave the creek at Fortune makes me want to put up a trail cam to record these efforts for posterity. After turning my ankle for about the 3rd time I started parking up front on the back side of the hotel and sidewalking it. Will regret it if I ever leave with money and get robbed

Be careful where you park. The hotel is vigilant about towing poker players parking in their lot. They give hotel guests a parking placard and tell them their vehicles will be towed if the sign is not displayed prominently on the dash. They should kiss Fortune's butt big time seeing's how a lot of their guests play at Fortune.

Do you know if players are still allowed to park behind the hotel? I just started parking in whatever lot is on the otherside of the hotel with the "Fortune Overflow Parking" sign. Its just as short of a walk as hotel parking unless you're brave enough to cross the imfamous ditch.

If I use the hotel, it is the very southwestern edge (nearest the road)- otherwise I park in the overflow lot of the empty restaurant. As the days get shorter and the weather worse, I find myself doing more laps in the lot itself to find a closer spot.

Nice to have met ya WAP!

Someone carved steps into the south side of the ditch. Makes it a bit less treacherous. Thanks guy!

I haven't seen anyone get towed from the hotel lot yet, but its probably best to not tempt fate. Though I doubt it's in Clarions best interest to potentially accidentally tow one of their guests... Its the industrial part of Renton, not downtown Seattle or something.

I flew in from Chicago, stayed at Clarion. I asked them why they would want to tow Fortune players cars. Seems like they tried, unsuccessfully to get Fortune prohibited from parking even on the other side of the hotel. Good thing Fortune had the gonads to stand up to them.

Renton is literally 10 minutes from SeaTac airport. Fortune Poker Room is right next door to Clarion Hotel. You will find round the clock low limit no limit games. Also free shuttle to and from airport to Clarion/Renton. Call them directly for the best rates, ask for Ashley. Good luck and have a grand time in Hawaii!

FortunePokerRoom.com shows what games they're presently running so you can check throughout the day/night the games that are currently running and wait lists for others.

Red Dragon Casino might be your best bet, especially with holiday and commuting traffic depending on the time youre trying to play.

Red Dragon is your best option, other than staying put and resting in your hotel room or checking out Seattle while you're in town.

Squeezing in a couple hours of 1/3 on a wednesday during a trip to Hawaii during Thanksgiving week sounds like you may have a gambling problem. Not judging.

Also, Fortune installed a pedestrian bypass paved section thru the gravel area entering the parking lot, potentially saving you seconds on your walk from parking at the hotel.

New menu at Fortune:

Tacos and phad thai are now $12. The hummus plate was good. Meatball sub would benefit from spicy italian balls instead of the Swedish style. Like the sausage Domino's uses.

In other news, the former Diamond Lils in Renton is being turned into a chik fil a.

Contemplating a move to Seattle. Play mostly 5/T live and wondering what casinos have the best NL action and highest stakes normally?

actually to make money in poker, u need to go to where the entire $3000-5000 per month u might be winning in $1-2 or slightly above isnt being used for hotel expenses. go to where your cost of living is under $1000 a month and the winnings can be used to rapidly grow the bankroll over the next few months

There are usually plenty of 3/5 options (Tulalip, Muckleshoot, Fortune). Rarely, maybe once/twice per week is 5/10 spread.

i dont want to try to live on sub 1000 a month. you can build a nice bankroll on 50,000 a year if single and invest wisely.

Welcome TBC to the Seattle thread!

Echoing the comment above, 2-3 tables of 3/5 run daily at Fortune. Also remember there's a $300 max bet in Washington, so that kind of goes against runnimg 5/10 games here IMO.

Fortune with the excellent rating:
