He’s apparantly making his rounds and landed in Fortune this weekend.

Late Reg is like 3.5 hours and there is no entry cap anymore.

is this the biggest tournament/guarantee in Seattle? Sucks that we don't have high buyin tournaments on a frequent basis.

No room big enough to run one and Tulalip is the only casino with hotel attached to it.

Just doesn't seem very profitable for any casino to attempt to run a big tourney.

The player experience at the Muck Omaha event today was very much improved since last year.

Canned Pepsi products available gratis from a fridge. Lunch was a taco buffet which I'd rate as slightly below bar taco quality but multitudes better than the soul-destroying chicken fingers and garbage they offered last year.

I also had the $1 bag of popcorn from the cart outside the poker room. A bit stale but kept me satiated until taco time. The hot dogs looked underwhelming at $3.50.

No usb ports on the table. Cannabis store 10 minutes away. Wifi was decent/good.

-Free soda (now in cans)
-Free taco buffet
-$1 popcorn
-$3.50 hot dog
-No USB port at table
-WiFi available

Wow, that's some amazing upgrades. Looking forward to making a trip to Muckleshoot...

Since I was talking **** about Fortunes bathrooms I've noticed a urinal divider in at least 1 (havent been to the other) mens bathroom (by the coffee bar). There's also a hook in the stall for those of you with backpacks and murses. Dunno about the womens bathroom

Showed up to the muck on saturday night, and it did not disappoint.

I signed up for 3/5 and 5/10 using the app prior to leaving home (45 minute drive), and i was #18 on 3/5 when i left home, and #2 on the list when I arrived. -- Got my seat about 5 minutes after arriving at the room, so i highly recommend using the app to sign up.

Tons of people in the room, and I was expecting a fairly good, gambly game because of the tournament. My table had a good amount of regs, plus a player that decided he hated money and played almost every hand.

The hotdogs were good, and I really liked playing the $500 max bet rather than the $300 max bet 3/5 that I usually play at Fortune. (i'm lazy and dont like the extra drive from seattle to the muck).

In for $900 - out for $3500 .. thank you seat 7.

How is the 3/5 action at the Muck sans tournament feeder? .. does it go every day multi-table? or just some nights?

It used to run daily by about 10AM, but I'm not sure if that's still the case since they're spreading 1/3 now as well. The weekday daytime 3/5 never impressed me much.

Not Seattle but there is a $1,075 buy-in 6-max NLHE event coming up on 10/26 at Chinook Winds (Lincoln City, OR) and a $1,000 "High Roller" event at the Pendleton Poker Round up on 11/3.

What Denny's serves prime rib? Not on their online menu.

Dude, it's not good. If you thought the prime rib was good - sorry buddy...you may need to experience better restaurants.

From what I remember, the Prime Rib would have been a great value at $10. Was a nice fatty/juicy/tender cut of meat. Not surprising that it isn't quite as good as $25-$35 prime rib at select restaurants.

Its a $10 poker room prime rib with free diet coke. Perfectly cooked with decent steak fries. Let's compare apples to apples... And not spread falsehoods about Denny's having $10 prime rib with free coca cola products.

Finally got to taste a bad beat last weekend:

Anyone play short deck? I'm guessing none of the poker rooms around Seattle run it, but does anyone ever play it in their home games?

Hello. I am really looking forward to get back in the game.

I live i northern WA area (Lynnwood/Edmonds)

light research shows the main tribal casinos are Muckleshoot and Tulalip. with 2 well known cardrooms being Fortune in renton, and the Hideaway.

However, except for the Hideaway in Shoreline, they are all pretty far from me. Are there any other good cardrooms that are nearby that I am no aware of?

I live at the southern tip of Everett. Sounds like you got it covered unless I'm missing something as well.

Congrats! Hope you got the big piece of the pie. Does Fortune give a room share for the Omaha bad beat or is that just for Holdem?
