xstevec covered it quite well.

The Monday omaha is a 'private' game with preferential seating and a few quirky rules like no missed blinds, 4 cards off the top if you come to the table late but preflop, if your card flips on the deal preflop you have the option to keep or exchange for the burn as usual.

Five weeks ago Caribbean also added an 8/16 OE game (omaha and stud hi low) that switches every 8 hands. Game starts at 630pm on Tuesdays, and 3 of 5 weeks now there has been enough players for two games at the start. $3 drop..

Thanks for the info on the 8/16 stud omaha game. They should make it easier to find out about this kind of stuff.

Wow this place is DEEp north east side. Traffic may be an issue

Yeah, it's not the most fun place to get to, Not being right off the freeway hurts it considerably. Pretty much have to go through some residential areas of coming from the south

Does anywhere near Seattle spread a regular game of 5/10 or multiple games of 2/5 for NLHE? I'm thinking about moving to the area and I'm curious what the poker action is like. A lot of the places don't seem to be on Bravo.

Depends on how you define regular.

NL games are getting smaller for most part.

I guess like at least two tables of 2/5 on a Thursday at 8:00.

Not sure if you mean 8:00AM or 8:00PM. Tulalip (north of Seattle) & Muckleshoot (south of Seattle) regularly run 2/5 or 3/5. Im not as familiar with Tulalip but have been to Muckleshoot during weekday mornings. Typically 1 table by 8 or 9AM. Keep in mind many rooms have small daily morning tourneys that consequently and temporarily break the games.

For those who didn't know the fall muck tourney series is on now. Tonite is Omaha, $200.

Correction: comedy night is Thursday. Bust out early tomorrow and get some great laughs in! Tobe Hixx is from LA so its a great chance to see him live for free.

The feature comedian of the night, Cory Michaelis, is good too.

Thursdays tourney at the muck is $200 nl.

All 3 tribals should have at least 2 games every Thursday night.

Snoqualmie has 5-10 NLHE Monday nights (usually between 2-4 tables), 5-10 NLHE on Thursday (usually 1-2 tables; but the players are starting to split between this and the PLO game), and 5-10-25 PLO on Thursday (usually 1 table). 5-5 on Friday and Saturday but unsure if they still run (haven't looked in awhile), and 2-5 usually every night. Occasionally on Monday night all games are 5-10 since the room only has 4 tables now.

Buy-ins:
2-5: 1-300
5-5: 500 (only $500)
5-10: 1000-2000 (or 75% of largest stack whichever is greater)
5-10-25 PLO: I believe same as 5-10

Anyone play the nightlys at Muckleshoot, specifically the $160 on Mondays or $170 on Tuesdays? I hardly ever play tournaments and certainly dont mess around with small dailies like at Fortune, wondering if either of those are worthwhile.

Alright, now that Summer is in our rear view mirror, let's get the mid stakes Omaha 8 game back going somewhere!

Has anyone heard rumblings of a mid-stakes running anywhere?

I heard one rumor that there is a O8/Stud8 15/30 game running on Saturdays.
Can anyone confirm that?

I don't even think the 8/16 runs at Fortune anymore, what happened to that game?

FYI. 5/5 PLO has went last two Tuesday's at Snoqualmie. Got 2 games going tonight. Buyin is $300-$1000. They only take $3/hand or $6/per half hour. Players choice. First game started at 4:30 pm tonight.

8/16 OE every Tuesday at Caribbean @ 6pm. Used to take call ins, first come first served now. Exit 22 east off 405.. That games been going strong for 2 months now, sometimes 2 tables. Once that player pool is established they've expressed interest in dedicating a night or two later to 8/16 full kill o8. ($3 rake on their non holdem games)

15/30 was going 3 then 2 then 1 day a week at fortune. They started 8/16 at the same time and thought they could share the player pool. FAIL. Then just 8/16, and it's noticeably tougher than the 4/8 so weaker players just stayed there, would be my guess.

Heard that the new room Red Dragon [mountlake terrace, not sure opening date, 15 table poker only] is re-opening soon and going to try to have a range of game selection including o8. Hollywood, Royal, and allegedly Hideaway all closing up poker.

To clarify, staff at Royal Casino in Everett and Club Hollywood in Shoreline both state that the still 'unofficial' plan is to shutter all poker at both of those casinos and convert the Red Dragon Casino to a 100%, ~15-table poker room. All three of these neighborhood casinos are part of the Washington Gold (WG) group, which also runs the Crazy Moose Casinos and a few others.

General understanding is that poker will cease at the Royal & Hollywood on Oct 15, and poker will commence at the Red Dragon on the 16th.

Some may recall that about one year ago WG had been spreading a daily O8 game and Hold-em tournament at the Crazy Moose Casino in Mount Lake Terrace, before ceasing poker at that location and largely migrating the games/employees/players to Club Hollywood. So consolidation at the Red Dragon is a continuation of that consolidation effort.

There has been a 20/40 OE game running at Muckleshoot on Saturdays around 8 pm or so but it has usually been just an O8 game as many of the players prefer O8 to Stud8 and some don't know how to play Stud8. When it has been short handed players will usually agree to run a mix of O8 and Stud8.

I hope this is true and I hope this will revive poker games around greater Seattle area.

I will be sad when they close down Hideaway because that's where I learned to play poker ~25 years ago(and Parkers).

Palace in Lakewood will have 6/12 O8 on Mondays at noon starting 10/2.

No idea what kind of turn out it will get but I appreciate the effort.
