This is technically in D'iberville, but right across the bay from Biloxi.

I believe they just opened this place not long ago and supposedly they have a poker room. Anybody played there yet? Thoughts?

Opened Dec 2015. Physical room is nice. They spread a low spread limit game and a 1-2NL. I have played their twice but never plan to return. Even the last time I went there with my wife, a big slot player, I did not even bother visiting the poker room. My issue? As is sometimes common in smaller rooms, the room is ruled by the regs. In my short time I watched string raises and way to much open collusion. The final straw was in a 1-2NL game. After a couple of hours, I had built up easily the largest stack. I get in a hand where on the turn an early position villain makes a pot size bet of $80 with only about $200 behind. I decide to push in knowing I am probably behind but with bunch of nut outs. He calls as I wanted but then reaches directly behind his two reds and pulls out 2-black and 2-green. Dealer was looking directly at him. I ask, how can those play they were obviously hidden. Dealer says "table stakes". Call floor he asks dealer if they were on the table and in view. Dealer says yes on table but not sure where at. Rather than check the cameras, floor asks villain where they were and he says on top. Rather than confirm with dealer who at least knows they weren't there or checking the cameras he sides with the reg

Btw I hit my nut flush so I benefitted. Then I immediately rack up and leave cause I know that next I might not hit and it was not worth it to play against players and the house both at the same time.

But the play was horribad and soft. Just be ready for every ruling to go against you.

With the uncapped 1/2 at Beau down the street, why would you play in that mess.

As noted, I no longer will. Last trip to Biloxi, wife had some free slot play. So we went but I did not even go look at the poker room. As soon as she was done, adios and down the road to the Beau!

Anyone plan on playing any of the card player series events here coming up in a few weeks? I'm playing in the main, either 1b or 1d. I also may drive out for the 'mega' satty on the 4th.

Has anyone played any tournaments here before? I've only played wpt events at the IP and the defunct spring break poker classic at the beau.

I frequent the casino often because of generous slot offers and there's never anyone in the poker room.

Was there today. Per normal no cash games. The daily donk fest had 46

Honestly not sure how they can even keep the room open much less host a $100k tournament. But as posted previously I no longer even think about playing there. But I don't normally play tournaments.
