Open seating on 1/2 & 2/5nl for the nearly 5 hours I played last night, short list for 3/6LHE. Two LAG players at my table who were nailing straights with the most random hands, but catching them on the turn or river and cracking people all night. I've played with one in the past, decent player, watched him turn about 60-80 chips into well over 600 while I sat, meanwhile watched two donkeys on two separate occasions donate well over 300 each to various players in several hands.

I had been avoiding Thursday night play because of the incentive they give players 55 and older, who FILL the casino, but last night was no wait and pretty much good times, except for one really pissed player at my table. No one wanted him to leave though because no matter how much he cursed, he kept giving chips up. Might play tonight, after First Friday, depending on how I'm feeling. Haven't ever played a Friday night.

I played from 11:30 Tuesday night until 4:30 Thursday morning and let me tell you it was a gunfight. There was so much loose aggressive play, it would make your head spin. There was one character who turned out to be the strangest, most annoying dude I've ever seen, he was an Indian dude who was turning over mucked cards, claiming that a tabled hand was mucked as he tried to push the winning hand into the muck, slowrolling with "the nuts", the nuts being a low pair when others whiffed, throwing cards at the dealer, verbally abusing other players, not wanting to post the BB. A dude I played with for the 30 hours, Billy, got this dude when he fired three streets on a KJx x Q board, then showed 94off and threw this dude on an even stronger level of monkeytilt. Good times!!!!!

Any reports on the list now? I'm heading down there now.

Sounds like the guy I was playing with - was he eating seeds out of his shirt pocket? Same guy went to river, other player flipped his cards and said "whatever high, no pair" and showed his hand. The Indian guy refused to show his cards, slow rolling a bottom pair.

Crazy Hand -1/2 NL Table today:

Question: When does an Ace High Flush Beat Quad Queens?

$200 plus pot - Answer Below?

New rumor: Seems new tables (23 total) arrive in December and tournaments in January.

Answer: When the quad holder yells "I HAVE QUAD QUEENS" throws his cards down so hard that one of his cards falls off the table and lands on an empty chair face down. Flush player says "That card is dead". Floor called and agrees card is dead. Quad player is furious but agrees and leaves the table.

Ask floor later what if that had been a bad beat hand- he said bad beat would not have applied since the card left the table.

That is the craziest thing I have ever seen at a poker table.

Standard rule at any casino. If a card falls off the table, that hand is killed.

Saw the same thing happen in Atlantic City.

Open seating all last night except 3/6LE, BBK is at $128k and the 5/5NL game was going pretty strong w/ an occasional wait of 1-2 people.

Couldn't catch a break and got felted after two hours though.

People who have been there a bit, any chance of getting a NL/PLO rotation going?

Would prefer 2/5 but 1/2 could maybe work.

Although I have nightmares about new dealers dealing with PLO.

Thoughts?

I mean, obviously PLO8 would be a worse outcome from the dealers...

A PA casino review paper listed PLO as a regular game at The Sands, when I showed the dealer this morning he said he had rarely seen it run. If an interest list is filled, they will run a game.

FYP = five year plan?

Doubtful to see PLO until the new tables are out, still far too much demand / too few dealers for hold'em. Dealers are still saying more tables are on their way and more dealers are in classes and should be hired in soon.

Last night was open seating across the board until around 7 or so when small, fast moving lists started showing up. BBJ is up to $130k.

Sat at the same table as the night before, different seat, some of the same players. Possibly the most heavily loaded 1/2 table I've ever been apart of. Over $3k on the table, with 3 players sitting on close to $2400 between them and large, frantic pots going on for the two hours I sat.

Both hole cards from both players must play. For quads, you must have a pocket pair.

Open seating again most of last night for NL, very short trip for me and a total 180 from the table I had played at the night before. No 5/5 playing last night, BBJ was at $133k
