It's still going now. I've seen it running about a hand full of times so far. If the players wanna play it, they'll run it.

When will you be posting the June tourney schedule?

What is the status of the sale of the casino? Will comps be combined with Borgata's and other MGM properties?

As Playbig indicated ...

On the other hand, nice HH promos over the upcoming long w/e. "Rake back" promo in June.

I don't see anything on the calendar except the typical HH promo. There is, however, an "a" on the 3rd without a corresponding footnote.

I read some time ago that they were planing to raise the jackpot drop from $ 1 to $2.

Has this happened and when do they drop the first and second dollar. I assume the rake is still 10% up to % 5 at 1/2NL plus whatever the jackpot drop is.

yes the rake is the same, pots of $50 or more are $2 BBJ, otherwise one dollar

Sands has the best dealers but the worst floor in the world. Sunday night at 8 pm 17 people in the 1-3 and 5-5 PLO list. I ask when will they call a game. Ass munch says they can't until a 2-5 game breaks. WtF??? They are serious and have an attitude if you dare ask why.

Guess it's back to Parx with floor like this.

Sounds about right. Between the high rake and stuff like that I only go there if there promo is outrageous. Other than that I'm lucky enough to have a choice. And I choose Parx. Feel sorry for the ones who live too close to there that Parx is -EV

Did they have the extra dealers? It is summer vacation time.

I heard tonight that Davey will be leaving in 2 weeks to run the poker room at Resorts world Intl. near Monticello, NY. That room opens in March 2018. Don't know who will his replacement will be. Was wondering what changes this will bring.

Hi need some help/advice:

I am thinking about driving to Sands or Parx from NYC for one day trip for poker with my wife. Another option is to take my 4 year old with us. so my wife plays poker (she plays long hours 2-5 and I take my son to visit around. I am not familiar with area, anything fun to do around Sands or Parx for a 4 year old? within 30 minutes driving. We plan spend a whole day.

Thanks in advance.

There is also a Kids Quest right in the casino, where you can possibly drop the child off for the day (not sure of the age requirements)

https://www.pasands.com/amenities/kidsquest.html

and if the child likes to color there is a Crayola Experience in Easton, PA not too far away.

Decided to try my luck for a couple of short sessions yesterday. Had a cigar event in the very general area, and planned to get a couple of hours in prior, then meet a buddy for the event and a night session.

Highlights:
-- Burgers at Emeril's. I've simply forgotten how good they are. Added bonus, my buddy pullled muscle in his jaw starting his and it was hilarious.

OK, it was a short highlight list

Seated fairly quickly after being 6th on the list, my guess is that they weren't filling seats, and perhaps the list had a few people in other limit games? Seated with the reg in front of me at the same table. Very loose passive table. I wasn't able to make much headway after getting trash cards for a few orbits. Made a few BBs getting out of line, only to give it back getting my hand caught in the cookie jar, and trying to buy my way out of it Table went as low as 3 active players, but then other tables broke (4pm?) and we filled up.

Tried to give my new stack away, but ended up making back my losses. When it was time to leave, there were 3 of us from the table cashing out. Does that mean I was the fish?

Went back at night, had a couple of super aggressive players. Kept me out of trouble, but I wasn't able to capitalize before calling it a night down a few BBs. Long drive home.

Apparently my buddy was killing it today, so we might head back up next week, as our comps in AC have dried up for a couple weeks.

I was disappointed in the dealers. Not all of them, but definitely a few.

The one that bugged me the most was when the dealer let the player on my right(seat 10) buy the button at the wrong time. I was BB, then SB, no blind, then SB again. I protested. Player on my left agreed with me, as he was due to pay his 2nd BB in 3 hands. The dealer seemed to fall back on "but he bought the button" without much else. After less than a minute of discussion, player on my left paid his BB (again) and my SB to move the game along. I continued to protest that I was still subjected to the worst position, even though it was 'free' to me. I just let it go, got crap cards and folded.

It sounds like the button should have been yours when he bought it. What I hate in these spots is when you ask people at the table and no one has a clue what's going on (lolivepoker).

I haven't been to Emeril's Burger in a while but what I didn't like about it is the bread is so big that it overtakes the burger. I think the burger at Steelworks is better overall, but that's just my opinion. I prefer a softer smaller bun but they changed their menu recently so I haven't tried one since. My favorite item at Emeril's is the catfish sandwich.

Nice trip report good luck on your next trip back to the sands fish bowl!
