how useful is that.. the data is almost 2 hrs old. You would probably be best server calling them before you leave and ask what's running.

In the end there will almost always be a 3-6 and 1-2nl running

This.

This is the exact issue. I was told by a floor man that MANY dealers are hired but they have to wait 4-6 for licences. So that should be half way done by now...

it's updated every two hours so you're right, sometimes it is two hours old. But, it really is useful even if you don't think so. Also, the ability to call in one hour to put your name on a wait list is great. Any room can do it, but most don't. I have no idea why.

I usually play at DP and was going to stop over to the Sands today to check out the room. I have time at 2 PM since I have a noon meeting in Allentown, but it looks to me like there are lines already, even at that time. No lines for me. I'll wait until the "hipe" is over and I can sit within 15 minutes. Doe anyone think that's possible at 2 PM?

The waits are tolerable @ 2PM, but don't expect to sit right down. It is going to take a long time to let the "hipe" (sp.) settle down. PA is hungry for poker.

Cause they dont want to give you a reason not to show up... they want your body IN THE CASINO to sign up for the game.. so you slum it in the slots while you wait.

Their waitlist (displayed?) should indicate which people are Call aheads.. so people will have a better idea how long the waitlist actually is. I'm sure 50% of the call aheads dont show up, or are late and miss their call... how else does the 80th person on the waitlist get seated in an hour?

Attention Limit Players. I'm heading over Friday morning 8-9AM they usually have only 4-5 tables running at that time. If anyone is up for a $4/$8 or $5/$10 limit game I'm going to see if I can start a list of interest.....just a heads up

You should bring your homework with you. Your going to need something to do when your waiting for 4 hours to be seated.

Management better seriously be considering the influx of college students that is soon to be coming.

Not only from a tables perspective, but from the perspective of having to check ID's. It will be a lot of headache.

Probably a dumb question, but they do serve alcohol right?

Also, I was reading this thread and the guy mentioned hitting the BBJ and saying how he assumed the two guys who hit it big took care of the dealer. I'm curious how much each of them would be expected to tip the dealer in this situation (I think one guy won 9k and the other won 4k).

Musikfest starts this Friday(Aug 6) and runs through the following Sunday(Aug 15). I'm seeing Norah Jones Sunday night.

It's not even 2 miles away from the Sands, I wonder if it will bring more people in or take people away. I would guess it would bring people in.

Does anyone from Sands have a projection that they can share? What is your expected spread?

Seriously, everyone's ID? Is this new since table games, I had not been carded there previously but did see them carding some people upon entering.

I think that Musikfest will not be a factor on poker play either plus or minus.

Adding tables is a very real possibility. We understand that the wait times can be frustrating and applaud those willing to wait for the action. Thank you to everyone for your feedback as we are working hard to make the poker room a better experience.

Really? I've been to a few of the new Pa rooms and haven't seen one that serves freee booze. I've seen posts that said PA Liquor Control Board prohibited that. I guess those posts were wrong.
