What NL games will be spread? Anything higher than 2/5?

The Sands will definitely offer higher games than 2-5 NL. I anticipate that we should have a nice 5-5 or 5-10 NL game going pretty regularly based on the conversations I have had with the players in North Jersey.

We have a BBJ pending approval of the state. The min hand will be quad 2's. All monies contributed will go to the BBJ and no admin fees.

Rake for the poker games has not yet been determined. I do anticipate that the Poker room will not have time rake. I will keep you posted when these factors are set.

You mean for Sands only, right? If I recall correctly, at least one other room specified tournament tables in its application and that application was approved.

Guys talk out of their asses all the time. No chance on earth you spread 5-10 NL on a regular basis if even EVER. Just my opinion on that one.

To the very best of my knowledge there are zero regulations set forth in Pennsylvania on tournament poker. When they are prepared the pennsylvania gaming board would post the temporary regulations on the PGCB website.

True. There are poker players who do talk out of their asses. However this room is the closest room to NYC and North Jersey for players looking for a casual high stakes game close to home. My bet is that this game runs as a 5/5 or 5/10 fri-sun and the game runs as a 2-5 nl on the weekdays. Time will tell but these players are certainly welcome.

I'm from Bethlehem and genuinely excited about the new poker room. However, over the past year I've seen Bob DeSalvio's constant over-promise, under-deliver tactics with every other aspect of that place...I'm not expecting much from the poker room.

I also doubt 5-10 NL will run much sans major holidays.

Are there plans for more tables. Is there room? What happens when tournaments can be played? Will they take over half the room? Hopefully not.

Besides NL HE which games are going to be spread or Possibly spread? I hear in Delaware over 14 different poker games have been approved to be spread.

Will you be able to call into the poker or over the internet put your name on the list for games?

If 12 tables isn't enough how long will it take the gaming board to approve more poker tables?

Will Kill and 1/2 games be allowed?

Will Staddling be allowed and better yet will Button Staddling be allowed? Opps, I see this was answered already. I'll hit my contact with the state to see why it is not allowed.

I look forward to your responses and checking out your room once it opens.

P.S. Is your poker room going to have a Twitter account? If you don't yet this is a great place to start to get info flowing.

After the room opens and tournament play is approved we do have a plan to expand the room. We would not suffocate cash play just to run tournaments but we do have an interest in tournament play moving forward

To be honest with you I am a fan of a 5-10 stud game with a $1 ante. I would love to see this game run at the Sands.

Good questions here.

Internet waiting list is not integrated. Phone is a potential option but I want to see the room open first. If there are lines I dont want have an unfair practice to those waiting in person.

To get more than 12 tables I would anticipate approx. mid Sept.

Full kill will be offered.

Twitter. Good idea. I will work on setting this up. tks.

Looking at July 9th still. I believe a hard date will be available within a week or so. The poker room will be located directly in front of the cafeteria/buffett. It will have 4-5 ft walls to separate itself from the surrounding area.
