It sounds to me like the majority of players that are close to San Manuel will be going to Morongo. I expect the people a little further west will head to LA or Lake Elsinore. I personally will be heading over to Morongo. It really sucks that they’re closing. I love that place.
Got the same email. Based on my travels in the IE, this was a largest and most steady action going back pre 2000. I noticed today they are off Bravo as well already. Im half way between LA and San Manuel, so I guess Ill spend more time in LA county now.
When they raised the drop on the 4-8 game to 5-1 they lost me.
Compared to the Commerce Casino a very calm room. Players well behaved. Some dealers were way below industry standards. Management made little or no effort to promote any size limit games that would justify the drop they wanted to charge.
San Manuel is the largest casino I’ve ever seen. I doubt the poker room contributed much to its gross income.
