Here's the extent of my knowledge of the action in this area

Stockton:: two card rooms (both forced to close at 2 AM)..The Cameo with 3-6 and 4-8 Limit Hold-em ..Ownership/management of the place is a mess..Games start at 10 am with a promo..Then there's the Delta - 1-2 NL hold-em with a promo to start the game..Poorly run with management having no clue when it comes to poker..The game starts at 10 am (if it goes at all) and usually breaks up by 1 pm (end of the promo)..That's right..One game and it hardly ever runs .

Manteca: Casino Real (24 hours)..Well run casino..They have 4-8 omaha hi-lo with a half kill..The game usually goes 4 or 5 days a week..Good action overall..3-6 limit hold-em goes 7 days a week ..usually around the clock..On the busy days they start a 4-8 limit game with a kill...Then there's 1-1-2 no limit with no max on the buy in..There's always a game and it usually starts around 10:30 ish AM..Ive found the action varies from tight (majority of the time) to deep-stack loose depending on the lineup..

Stopped in Tracy yesterday..They had an action 5-10 NL + an action 2-4 NL ..I was shocked..The Valley's been so dead of late.But I knew sooner or later Tracy poker action would take off..The Star has a GREAT location there right off a 580..

Lodi's NL poker is basically gone..No surprise since it's a John Park owned casino..Too bad..They have a nice location too (right off 99)..All they have running is 4-8 limit with a killer 5 dollar drop.Good luck with that.

Stars hardly ever spreads that 5/10. You just happened to get lucky

You're right..I stopped by this past Saturday and they only had the 2-4 NL (which was a pretty good game)

Manteca had a monster 5-10 NL on Tuesday..One guy cashed out 30 grand..And there was around 60k on the table at one point..I came back Thursday and they had another action packed 5-10 running with a good 1-3 also going

Things are really picking up around here after years of nothing but 1-2.

Casino Real in Manteca now has a 1-3 PLO no-max game on Fridays (first PLO game ever spread in the area as far as I know)..First week it was off the charts wild ..Big multi way pots with average stacks around 1500 to 2000..Last week it was a decent game that I heard got crazy good after I left..Now with Stones running PLO on Mondays I'm loving Nor Cal poker again

.Cant stand NL hold-em..Ya I grind out a decent rate thanks to the bigger games on Tuesday's and Thursdays in Manteca, but all the fricken NL games are sooooo boring these days..Oh and that same old table talk day after day..Holy sh*t.

Lodi has a Friday 2-5 NL game ..Stockton is stuck with a tiny 1-2 NL game..Not sure what's going on elsewhere..Tracy had 1-1 lol last time I was there..

The Wed-Fri PLO game in Manteca is now 1-3-5 with no max..Game starts at 2pm..This last Wednesday 1 player lost 6, 000 by 3:30 PM . The 2 big winners were ahead 5,000 and 4,000 by 4pm..

Friday's game started slow but then kicked in bigtime when the action player of all action players showed up..The game immediately goes in super turbo mode until he gets bored and moves on to baccarat..

Modesto now has 1-2 blinds - 5 to go PLO on Monday nights (1000 max buy in)..I played last week and lost big but the game was nice and soft ..

Manteca's Wed-Fri PLO games are still 1-3-5 (no max) 5 to go..Still plays big though the players are starting to improve..

Definitely the best action in the Big Valley..At least for now..Everything changes quickly

Casino Real in Manteca is going to start spreading a 1-2-2 PLO game on Mondays..The 1-3-5 is still going strong on Wednesday's and Friday's..

The rest of the area is pretty much void of decent size beatable games. But Manteca is the saver with strong Monday thru Friday with no max buy in and 1-3-5 NL holdem and PLO..

Going to be in the area for about a week. Best place to play deep 2/5+ nlh or 5/5+ plo?

no max PLO in Manteca just keeps building up strength..Last night (Wednesday) they had 2 games with a poopload of chips on both tables..+ a great mixture of tightbutt regulars, maniac regulars and newbies to the game..

PLO is definitely now the game all the big players want, still its only spread two days a week (which makes no sense at this point)

Nice room with juice action..owner and props r borderline angle shooters though passing chips chopping every hand then they play slow play big hands against each other etc was a major major factor in me not playing there for a while

What’s the status of these games nowadays? Have a friend that lives in the area would like to visit around when some of the bigger games are running. Also curious if anyone has any experiences with any crime at or near these rooms? I know these areas are known for their crime and the last time I was in Manteca I was almost stabbed at a Wells Fargo.

Manteca’s Casino Real now spreads 10-25 NL with no max..It runs once a week..Also 10-25 PLO 5-10 PLO 5-5 PLO and they’re trying to make 1-3 5to Go PLO a daily game

Other games spread at Casino Real are 15-30, 6-12 and 4-8 Omaha 8 or better games..3-6 and 4-8 limit hold em ..2-3 NL is spread at least 6 days a weekhold em

Place is rocking of late

Not sure what’s going on in the card rooms in the surrounding area..Though I’d guess they’re all pretty slow.
