Max buy-in for the Oaks' 2-3-5 is $1K. And the winner straddle game isn't always on, but it is on often enough to make it something to think about when you consider sitting down.

It is more like -- exactly like, in fact -- playing with a rock than it is an autostraddle.

Thanks. Is that the biggest game in the room? How many tables of that would they have going on a typical weekend?

It's the biggest NLHE game in the room.

There is a regular 30-60 limit hold'em game that goes down most weekdays. In terms of money won and lost, it's about twice as big as the 2-3-5 game when the winner straddle is going.

I don't know how to play limit.

Sounds like a decent game. I'll definitely check it out sometime. Thanks for the info.

I meant I'll be playing the 3/5/10. Not the limit game.

I don't have a good conception of the proper pf ranges for full ring limit. I'd imagine it's quite different than nl.

Like hands like KJo and QJo maybe profitable to open in EP and you throw away 55 and low suited Ax. idk just guessing. And I have that much less knowledge of 3bet 4bet ranges. I think I'd be relegated to just playing very tight. I'd prefer to know what I'm doing. But not interested in studying limit.

Looks like Lucky Chance's is opening Friday June 19th! Not sure what the table modifications will be. Commerce opens tomorrow 8 handed with plexiglas dividers and masks required.

I don't know where you are getting your information from, but this is incorrect. LC is currently closed. I called them 2 days ago, after I saw the same post from you in another thread. A live person answered the phone; she told me she has no idea when they will reopen.

Given the new sanctions to close cardrooms in CA, when will that order take effect?

The quotes below are lifted from different news sites. Feel free to call any specific card room you're curious about, or check its website or social media pages. You'll get the most accurate information that way.

"As novel coronavirus cases and hospitalizations continue to rise, California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a statewide order Monday requiring indoor operations such as movie theaters to close, effective immediately."

"The new order, which will now apply across the state, is effective immediately, Newsom said."

"The new orders are effective immediately. Newsom did not say when they might be lifted."

Doesn't matter in the Bay Area; cardrooms have been closed since March with no prospect to re-open.

(I thought the LA-area cardrooms' re-opening was insane and time has proved me right.)

LC was indeed open, I went a few times. They re-closed this past Monday though. The below pic is from June 24th, we got the 5/10/20 PLO game off the ground

Per Bravo poker app, Graton is still open and spreading 8 games as of 5PM. Of course it is on Tribal land. I wonder how long they will stay open.

Damn, this is potentially really cool news. If anyone makes it out there, would love to hear a TR.

Outdoor? The M8trix parking lot was too small before cv. Where are they doing it?

In the parking lot. They have a large tent with 20 tables in total, 3 of which are for poker. Bay101 has a similar set up and 5 tables for poker.

My computer doesn't like imgur or facebook or whatever because I can't see the pics, but it occurs to me that a tent is still "indoors" with canvas walls instead of stud and sheetrock walls.
