The original casino floor plan was cut by half due to administrative, traffic and lighting issue. I doubt it. but I hope the casino give it a try.

Was at oceans tonight and apparently they are now taking $1 drop if the hand ends preflop and isn't chopped, at least at 2-3NL.

Sounds like Oceans 11 is crap.. $6 dollar rake and now they take a dollar if there is no flop and isn't chopped. Don't know why the hell people keep going there unless they live nearby. Happy Seven Mile has kept it at $5 (even though it's still a high rake, but standard) and don't plan to change that as far as I've been told.

The rake is unfortunate, but it's a nice room. The food is pretty good (and free at 5/5+), etc.

Sounds like I need to check out 7 Mile, though.

Mon-Fri there is a PLO game throughout the day and into the evening. Unfortunately for me, it's only 5-10 PLO, which is a little to expensive for my bankroll. If they had a 2-5 PLO game I would be all over it.

Thanks.
Are they still planning on getting their live games on PokerAtlas or the like?

I would go to Seven Mile more often if Oceans didn't have such great promotions. The free food and the rake back is too good to pass up. Not to mention I've had my name called randomly for some cash giveaways recently. Also, each time I've gone to Seven Mile, I called in and put my name on the list, but I've always had to wait a long time to get a seat. They need to get more tables.

It usually does go at least 4 out of the 5 weekdays, but you are correct that sometimes it does break up kind of early. And yes, there is bumhuntery going on.

Man, I havn't heard a 1/1 NLH game since Sycuan had it years ago. Actually, I believe it was 1/1/1 at the time there.

So O11 just raised their rake. Now it's 6+1 with $1 taken out preflop unless it's chopped. I'm bummed because otherwise it's a great room and really close to me. What are my other low rake options? Barona?

Wow, bummer!! WTF, **** that! 100% losing my business over that.

They just raised last in May of 2015. That's a 50% increase in about 20 months.

Was $1 always taken out preflop, or is that new? Haven't played there in years. Brutal nonetheless. Curious as to what Barona's is also (I'm equidistant to both).

No, at O11 they didn't use to take anything preflop, at least in the limit games.

Staying in Coronado for a few days. Which room(s) would you recommend for convenience and proximity to Coronado? Looking to play 2-5 NLHE (ideally), but would also look at 1-3 or 5-10.

It might be a bit early, but any places around likely to have some good WSOP ME satellites? Looking to fire a couple $200 bullets.
