I have no idea, but I did hear that PLO was going on Saturday so it looks like "Just another guy" did get it started.

I don't get the sense that it goes very often at the moment (PLO is going at Seven every weekday but usually just one table). From what I could tell talking to the floor, Jamul seems to be interested in spreading whatever people want to play. They have plenty of excess space it would seem.

If just another guy and anyone else are interested in table starting the mix at some point definitely PM me or respond here. I won't be able to ask around at Seven or anything this week though since I am out of town until Thursday.

Unfortunately it must have started later than I was willing to head over as Bravo didn’t have it going when i went to bed.

Do we know if Jamul is allowed to spread all the “wacky” games? I know back when the 40 LHE game was still a thing at Oceans we did a little triple draw (early morning after the game had run for 40hrs) but were eventually told it was a no-no.

It seemed implied to me that they could spread all sorts of games. Can't say with 100% certainty though.

oceans can spread all the wacky games now, fwiw. idk about jamul, there are a couple dealers/floor in their rotation that could prob accomodate w/ enough advance notice.

I hope smaller PLO at jamul becomes a thing; I've seen numerous times playing 5/5NL at 7mile where people are intrigued at learning PLO but 5/10 is just not a learning stake, especially for how big it plays (it really can play 10/20 sized w/ all the money on the table). it'd be cool if jamul could fill in that 1/2 PLO niche so more people can learn all about the greatest game of PLO.

oh also surprisingly enough i think the 5/5 PLO game on saturdays at 7mile has more or less died (?) that one surprised me. but yeah saturday is just the nut low day for san diego poker, i'll never understand it.

$5/$5 totally dead at seven mile on Satursdays. I haven't seen it run there in ages.

I also heard Oceans can spread wacky games, we were talking about spreainng PL 27 triple draw today and dealer implied they could do it.

So, if if we find some people ,sees like might be able to get a game going. FWIW satursday from like 2-8 today did have a good amount of people playing $5/$5 Big O and several of them know about/seemed potentially interesting in games like 27 triple daw ,etc. and have a mix in general.

If oceans ran a mix, I'd love that too.

The $2-$3 PLO will run every Fri and Sat starting at 6pm. You can run it twice or 3 times for turn and river. It has been lasting on average until midnight, but expect it to start staying later. We are also going to be starting $2-$5 NLH on wednesday nights as well $300-$1000 buy-in and run it twice (or 3x) is available as well.

Yes we are able to spread all of the "wacky games" here at Jamul. All we need is a little heads up that a game will be playing so we can promote it and have appropriate staff.

Maybe because the weather is good people are active all day Saturday and tired at night? Or hungover or broke from Friday night?

I have played 5/10 at Seven Mile a few years ago. Do they still have 5/10 on weekend? How about Ocean 11?

Hoping to make it to Jamul for PLO tonight.
Anyone been playing the 2/3? Does it get very deep?

Please update on if PLO goes, when it starts, how long it goes, etc.

I usually play at Gardens on Friday nights in a 5/5 PLO game but would love to support another PLO game in SoCal.

Did not know the Gardens has PLO.
Always just play the limit games when there
I’ll have to keep a better eye on the App

(Looks like Oceans night get a nl/plo going this evening)

We try to get a 5/5 PLO game with a fun atmosphere going on most Friday nights. Other nights it will just pop up if the right people are in the room.

2/3 PLO will run Friday and Saturday nights at Jamul for the foreseeable future. We've moved the Sycuan 2/2 game to Jamul (floor staff more agreeable and rake is less).

Has the PLO been going consistently on Fridays?

This past Friday was the only time it didn't go, but several of the regular players were unavailable that week. It should go this week as far as we know.

Glad to hear about 2/3 going frequently at Jamal. I liked the room when I played in their tournament about a month ago.

Sat/Sun night isn’t always great for me though. If anyone wants to start a PLO game for 2/3 earlier sometime let me know and I’ll table start with a few people. (Honestly tomorrow during the day would be fine with me.)

We had (2) $2-$3 PLO games running at Jamul tonight. The player base is starting to slowly grow. The game always starts Fri and Sat at 5:45pm and you can call ahead up to 2 hours to get on the list. Wed nights at 6pm they have also been having a $2-$3 PLO / $2-$5 NL round by round game. $2-$5 NL action has been more frequent as well.

For the PLO the buy-in is $100-$500, $2-$5 is $300-$1000. If they do the round by round we limit it to the $500 max

Whats up, planning to visit and check out a few rooms. Seven Mile, Sycuan and Jamul my best bet for 2/3 NL during the week?

Hey Carl. Seven Mile ainec.

Sycuan and Jamul will have zero to one games going during the daytime hours. Jamul won't get much more than that at night -- although Sycuan can get two to three games going during the week day evenings.

Seven Mile, otoh, will have 5+ games during the day and more at night... and more actiony. Play your normal nit-tastic game, wait for somebody to do something dumb and scoop in pots.

Please leave your winnings in tourist destinations around town, it's good for our economy. ;-)

PS: Sycuan and Jamul are both on Bravo app; 7M has their own app that you can download for free -- you can use it to see what is running, but you'll need to register with their front desk in order to use the "click to join waitlist" feature. You can phone in for waitlist at any of the three rooms.
