I didn't mean "all the time" literally, was just pointing out that 2-5 NL is very common in this room. My point was: If the floor looked at him like he was nuts, it wasn't because he asked about 2-5 NL. Only Reyzor is in a position to figure out if/why they did, and then only if he's capable of the necessary introspection.

I am glad they finally got a betting line though, that is for sure.

I just wanted to point out that on the week days, 2-5 is hard to get running (especially lately). They also could have looked at him crazy because the room was dead.

I was there everyday last week and there was always a 2-5 running by 3:00. It is usually the same group of guys, but nevertheless there was one running.

Got a couple questions. Sorry if they've been answered before. On my phone so don't feel like looking thru everything. 2/5 run everyday?? What is min max on that table and the 1/3s?? Anything bigger than 2/5 go? Love me some juicy 5/10 action.

Anyways I'll be there tonight so pm me if you'll be there.

I'm not sure which was the reason, but it's amazing that they didn't have enough dealers or tables??? How many entrants? How many turned away?

Does Rivers offer alternate seating or have temp tables?

They annouced 2 hours before hand that seating was going to be limited to 60 players. A big line formed at 6, so we all stood in line for 20-30 minutes to get a seat... They just didnt have enough tables with all the cash games going on. They then wound up adding alternates and opening more tourney tables afterthe tourney started and wound up with 100 total. It was a complete mess as people were pretty annoyed as they had previoulsy turned away some players

Was a good trip this weekend. Didn't play in the 550 tournament as there was 14 ppl when I went to register at noon, not sure how many they ended up with.

Wish I brought a bigger roll to play that juicy 5/5 PLO game. Lost a buyin in like 10 minutes after my straight got rivered by a bigger straight for a 2500 pot. Oh well, seemed like a great game and will be back.

Got murdered on table games and really hated paying for drinks, that adds up, especially on new years lol probably spent about 200 on drinks just for myself through out the weekend.

Good casino just wish I woulda focused more on poker instead of drinking and gambling it up for the new year.

Fold up temporary tournament tables are the answer. WPT, WSOP, Venetian DSE, etc, all use them and Rivers has more than enough room to add some. The table tops are identical but they're equipped with folding legs and you can bring them out / take them away whenever needed. Assign them as the first tables to break and they're out of the way in no time. So easy...

Or they could just close a couple 2/4 limit cash games for 2 hours.

It's not like the old, bad beat chasing, SS milkers are leaving the casino. They will just have to make their buffet trip a little early.

Hey all, just wanted to see what kind of limit games go here and when they are usually run. I had heard that 4/8 was the lowest they spread, but I wasn't sure how often that was played and how many tables there are of it. Are there times when higher limits get spread? Thanks for all the help!

Maybe this will answer all the questions on what games run at the Rivers. This app is great way to see what games are running.

Is there Anyone who lives within a 30 mile radius of Johnstown who I can carpool with? I usually play at rivers 1 or 2 days a week. We can meet at the casino first to get to know each other, then go from there.

I was one of the alternates that was not seated in the first two levels when given our refunds the floor asked for our names and emails and said that the rivers would be contacting us and doing something for us whether it be comps or maybe a daily tournament entry to make up for our trouble. Its been over a week and that email is no where in sight and I'm actually a little angry about it. If they did nothing at all thats fine I understand but don't tell me you are and then dont.

Played the 555.

Started with 25k chips at 25/50.

One blind jump went from 1k/2k to 2k/4k.

That's about all I needed to know to never go back for a tournament heh.
