Pennsylvania casinos are allowed to reopen on Monday the 4th... anyone know if the poker room is set to come back then? I think they originally shut down on city order so they might need to clear both hurdles.

Rivers gets shat on here for being horribly unfun now because there are too many restrictions.

I was there a few months ago and they had complimentary water bottles on the back patio on the other side of the casino. Probably just as far as your car but no security hassle.

Do they have alcohol in the poker room since the reopening? Also is beer complimentary these days?

What happened to the 5-0 PLO game that would run often here?

Watched a dude call down with Q high at 2/5 earlier tonight. It was one of the fishiest, most stupidest, but somehow incredibly brilliant, calls I've seen. Dude seems like a real jag-off, but yeah called villain with Q high and was right. The hand went something like:

Villain opens CO to $20. Dude 3b to $60. Villain calls.
Flop: 764ss. Villain chk. Dude cbets $55. Villain calls.
Turn makes board: 7643sscc. Villain chk. Dude bets $180ish. Villain calls.
River makes board: 76434sscc. Villain leads like $200 or so. After about 30 seconds, dude calls.

Villain shows down T8cc for missed everything.
Dude shows QJo for Q high.

Cliffs notes: Lagtard soul-owns reg. Probably splooges his pants 5 minutes later.

I recently moved to Philly. Does PLO ever run here or do I need to go to Parx?

Also is there any update on when masks and plexiglass will come down?

You probably need to go to parx if you want to get into a game..
But if rivers starts a game i would get on that list

They removed plexi from half the tables last night. Floor said the other half would be removed today. I believe masks are June 2nd, but I don’t live in Philly so I don’t check it ever

I played plexi glass free tonight and it felt great.
The masks should go away June 11th.
Philadelphia is behind the rest of the state.

On a side note, the room was rocking with the Sixers game on.

I've been waiting for tournaments to come back so I'll probably fire a bullet in this one.

i'm not a tourney player, but 16.6% of buy-in cut off the top seems high.

This is totally normal for a $240 tourney

When high hands end each day, Rivers Casino Philadelphia should stop taking the $1 for promotions when the pot hits $10 and only take a dollar at 10X the big blind. This would be a substantial improvement to this room and dramatically increase business late at night.
