it's interesting, i think for the most part nearly all of the 5/5 plo regs are component at the game, with the exception of a few older degen lifetime gambler types. this often creates a situation where guys are just trading money back and forth and on those days the game is not good IMO.

how often do you play in it?

I wonder how they "warned customers" ? No messages on the app or emails received yet for myself.

I did receive an email from Rivers regarding the data breach. But, I deleted it as there is nothing I can do and nothing Rivers can do.

Hi PokerRegulator,

Yes, I am still working as a Shift Manager at Rivers Des Plaines.

2x-3x/week since it first started. Usually open the game.

Have scaled down a lot, since I just started a new company.

And yes, I had a conversation about the action yesterday. A couple of wild players just make it a war of attrition

Is the 25-25 PLO semi private or can you hop in? Runs regular days, or just when the right folks show up?

It is definitely semi private. Runs maybe once or twice a week. You can view its availability on the bravo app.

semi, but you can probably get in. Are you not a regular in the room? Mike runs Wednesday and Stan runs Tuesday games. All friendly guys, but you need to give action.

Not a reg to the room so I won’t know the guys, but if I have an upcoming work trip and was curious. Appreciate the info!

Are the 10/20 and 25/50 games public or private there? If so, do they both regularly run on weekends?

Why did they disallow the use of nicknames on Bravo? It made people feel like they were cool VIPs

The nickname issue can be a combination of things, none of which I'm sure of ..

1) Does the Bravo system interact with the casino system? If so, then perhaps the casino has stopped allowing aliases in their system.

2A) In one of my two 'home' casinos my name appears as I want it to in both the Poker Room and if I play slots/table games.
2B) In my other home casino they can go into Bravo and change my name manually .. but once I table change or leave for the day it reverts back to my legal name.

It used to work at my 2B casino just fine, but when the casino policy changed and disallowed nicknames/aliases I've been stuck in this manual mode. Some Floors will go in and change it, some wont.

I'd hate to think it's just a box that's unclicked in the Bravo software .. but it very well could be. GL

lol, it's not that complicated.

They still change names to suit ease of pronunciation and to distinguish between platers with similar names.

You just can't call yourself "Big Fishy" or "Fat Tony" anymore.

I suspect it's bc the floor didn't want to call out funny names.

'Back in the day' there was a casino in Michigan that 'gladly' paid the slot fines handed out by Gaming .. they were making way more than the fine amounted to, so the fine was just a business expense. GL
