I'm a customer, and casinos are a service industry - and last I checked - an increasingly competitive one. I think they should grow their customer base, I'd be happy to be a more regular patron. But their tourney offerings are bush league (there, there's an insult). I'm less than an hour away from RWC, but I have to drive a lot further to other casinos that offer the services I desire.
Monticello is a dump and it is too far away from NYC metro, nothing will change that. How many times were we told when these licenses were awarded that the benefits to the local economies in terms of taxes and jobs were of paramount importance? And now the place is teetering financially...and short-staffed!
it's a room that on most night has what ten tables running tops? mostly all 1/2 nl. what kind of tournaments do you think they're actually going to get.
the second paragraph in your email is terrible you insult a bunch of different things and are condescending. you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.....
look i'm closer to resorts than parx or borgata and it's a much more pleasant drive to resorts and you don't get fisted on tolls the entire way either which is nice. i wish they had more players and bigger games but they don't.if they did it would be easier to get the tournaments you desire in shitty sullivan county.
you're right about the bolded- but these reasons why the place can't sustain the tournaments that you want.
