Yes you do get free slot play, limited to certain machines (not poker of course).

My latest offer for April is a discount room Sun through Thurs. I play 2/5

5/10 OE is going now, Fri 8pm

How much is the discounted room? How many hours of 2/5 did you play before receiving the offer?

Hey Davey, do you know if there are any plans to add non-chinese bus companies to those offering trips to the casino from NYC? I would think there would an appetite for them.

What is the phone # for the poker room to call ahead to get on a 2-5 list?

I know an exec from Coach USA Shortline who is a friend of my dads (I used to work for him when I was 16 as a ticket agent in Mahwah) and he told me they put in a proposal from the beginning to serve PABT to RWC. That's their market, they run from NYC/Catskills area all day and according to him they had no interest and were more interested in the Asian market from Chinatown. I'm also aware in the beginning they were only letting people on the bus who were willing to give up (sell) their vouchers. I don't know if this is still an issue.

RWC stated several weeks ago they were aware and they were working on it. I haven't heard of anything since then. Clearly this was an issue with the carriers, and not RWC.

That seems pretty shortsighted on the part of RW as there is a large segment of the population who would never step foot on the Chinatown buses. Why not just have both? Dumb stuff.

I played in a 5-10 game a week or so after the room opened, but I’ve not seen any games running since. Any thoughts on if higher stakes will run up there?

Any suggestions for a nice hotel within 20 minutes from the casino - I'm looking for a resort like place with tennis courts so I can play during day and gamble at night

The Nevele Resort is closed. The neighboring hotel Honors Haven (formerly the Fallsview is open and has tennis courts. There to the casino is just a few miles down 209 to 17 at Wurtsboro and then west on 17 to Exit 106 for the casino.

Davey - This past Sunday's $250 tourney was a lot of fun, 139 entries and ~$30K prize pool. Not bad. Now you need to go bigger. Looking forward to it.

But why did you make the next Sunday tourney on June 17th? Thats Father's day, turnout will be low - I can't come that day. Please change this to the week before or week after.

And how about a couple more levels? Thanks though it was great and the staff was great too.

How does the place compare to the borgata, foxwoods, and Parx? PLO frequency and quality of action?

Admit, I didn’t realize I scheduled it for Father’s Day. I would rather not move it though because the date has been too publicized at this point. Mental note taken for next time. Seeing the result though, we will explore other weekend dates coming up this summer.

Is it possible to get discounted rate for playing poker at all? If so, how much to play at 2/2 PLO/2/5 NL/1/2 NL since bigger games seem to run pretty rarely judging by what I've seen on Bravo.

Davey, Im a 40 week grinder. Im at the point Im going to give this room 2 more weeks in regards to how cold it is. There are other issues as well which im hoping will work itself out . I have seen new players coming from table games or checking out the room & everyone of them said they wont come back because its an icebox even wearing a winter jacket. Its completely out of control. A 1.4 billion dollar casino should have no exuses for not taking care of this problem within a week. You are losing way more players then you think & the room will absolutely not make it if a few things dont get improved especially temperature in this room.I have heard every exuse from every floor manager & its just unacceptable & I know atleast 10 players off the top of my head rather not play then to deal with freezing & having to bring ski jackets close to summer time....

40% Off Ski Jackets | Free Shipping & No Sales Tax | Honestly I play there 3 to 4 days a week and do not think it is bad.

It was freezing last Sunday. I think when it's hot outside the AC gets cranked up to keep the sunnier areas cool. During the night time it was much better
