Seems like the CT rooms see a big uptick in traffic with high hand promos, is that something you're anticipating doing?

Having a clean slate and a new place, would you consider doing a poker show, whether it's something daily like LATB, or periodically like the Stones or Bellagio POTS livestreams? Seems like there's nothing like it on the East Coast and seems like it would be a nice thing to promote the room, there is decent demand for it.

Also what are your projections for the rake structures? (if not too early)

One of the biggest is obv the 2/5 buy-in. RWC is going to be the closest NY casino to the city, as well as northern NJ. And with the Borgata recently increasing the max to 1K, and all surrounding casino's having a 1K max (including Rivers near Albany, NY), I think it's a given to have the max at 1K as well.

It would also be good if the 5/10 is 2K but we all know PLO has killed 5/10's pretty much. And I know I don't have to mention tables with charging ports I also like the 9 handed tables.

According to the maps I posted above it appears to be on the upper level near the high limit area. Is the room enclosed? The big question is will there be room for expansion?

Unfortunately that seems incredibly unlikely. The Borgata and Water Club have ~2800 rooms combined and Resorts World is going to have 332 rooms, if I'm not mistaken.

Correct. I do not anticipate comp rooms in phase one due to scale. Discounted rooms are still TBD and don't expect an update on that until late Feb/March.

Thanks for coming onto the thread! We are all eagerly awaiting the opening of your poker room! Good luck with it! Few questions for ya..

1) I see that they are expecting the casino to open 2 weeks early in mid February. If that comes to fruition, would the poker room opening date move up in conjunction?, or is a March 1st poker room opening ( 2 weeks after the casino opening) still a probability regardless?

2) Will your poker room have safety deposit boxes?, and if so, what will be the application process?

3) Hopefully the 5/10 NL holdem game runs regularly, and maybe 10/25 will run on the weekends at times. What would be the rake for those games? I assume they will be time raked games as opposed to the $5 +2 in the 1/2 and 2/5 nl games...

4) Any early idea of the rake/ comp back we can expect? I do plan on spending 3 or 4 days a week in your room, and those types of bonus's really help the players who put in time.

If you have a choice between 2K and 2.5K max on 5/10, I know you prob have to file the request with the state before hand, not that it makes a big diff but the higher buy in will be a unique max for the area and RWC will rise slightly above neighboring rooms (hint*).

As I stated earlier I can't emphasize how lucky we are to have you in command of this new room, a veteran coming from AC and then the biggest revenue producing casino in PA. Are you going to create a Facebook page? Maybe you can start advertising the room's opening to people in a 100 mile radius that FB knows is interested in poker, so people in the area are aware that a competing poker room is soon to open up (I see tons of ads adverting the casino's 1400 job openings from the casino's general page).

Davey Gravy it's great to have you on board (legendary name) I'm one of the few that was so disappointed when I heard there will be no poker room. Although it's small it's a start and huge your involved. I have a few questions.
1. When you say there's room for expansion and you get much bigger turnouts then expected what's your projection on how many tables you can expand ?
2. Do you know what the straddle positioning rule will be?
3. How much space and tables do you estimate and avg max buy in for tourney series?
4. IN Maryland live they have a great system for table changes put automatically in a computer for the table you want, will you have this?

5. Will you have WiFi in the poker room considering reception isn't great up there?
6. Lastly some are for smoking close by, I personally like a nice clean room. How far will smoking be?

Dave when you say initial area 6 tables isn't that much less then the 16--18 I was hearing?

Dave when you say initially 6 tables. Isn't it projected to start at 16 -18 tables if there is enough to fill them?

Was referencing expansion capability.

We have 19 tables to start and can expand 6 more if needed.
