Semi-Lurker. Subscribe to half a dozen threads. Play about one or twice a month at Poto ($1/$2, as not rolled for $3/$5). Occassional tournaments (Poto WPT, Hammond WSOP cheap event $200 Stimulus, Event #1 $365, NH, CA, WA when travelling).

Strictly curious. I find myself often wondering when sitting at the table.

I think if I learned that someone I view as maniacal/crazy action player were a 2+2er that I may alter that impression and feel that is an image they are projecting. Though being a lurker or poster here in no way ensures a player is good, knows what they are doing....or even if they know what they should do, that they actually have the discipline to play in that manner.

There was about 10 tables going for the Monday Night Football promotion. Didn't really seem to bring in any outside people though. I had previously played with everybody at my $1/$2 table except 1 guy and he was tighter than everyone else. Set up a deal to split any $100 touchdown wins with a girl who had the other team but neither of us won. Probably 100 people in the room and they give away $500-$1000 for 4 hours so worth a few bucks an hour.

I lurk here and play $1/2 most Fridays - Sundays since July. I might have been the tight guy at the MNF promotion.

Im a semi regular who plays 1/2 nl, probably seems like i play like a maniac but its to create more action and abuse the players leaks. Also play almost any hand with someone playing 250 bbs or deeper when im also deep. To easy to stack players there with TPTK.

Speaking of that, I got a guy to get in 150 bbs with 88. He tried to 5 bet me with it pre flop but he made a string bet. Flop 77Q, he leads, I ship with AA and he calls it off. Of corse binks an 8 on the river, but just an example of how my prior agression caused this guy to try and punt me $300.

Not sure, but i was the big guy sitting next to the Asian. Then busted later when I got my last $45 in preflop with 99 and had 44 two out me.

I think the dealers get the bad beat info next Monday. The tables haven't been modified yet to accommodate the separate $1 drop so it may be a while.

I heard there's one less night time floor working. Too bad because he was one of the top ones.

Ya this sounds familiar. Friday afternoon(28th)? I don't recall any asians but there was a hyper aggro that overbet EVERY flop he was in...

All of them? Bad beat money has to go into a different collection box than the rake money.

I'm going to be in Milwaukee on business in a few weeks (staying about three miles from casino). Is there an easy way to get there with no car? Will cabs be available at the casino?

Do limit games like 20-40 go? Looking forward to checking the place out.

Yes there's a taxi area by the parking garage and pretty much always some cabs there. If you're staying downtown there's shuttle buses that will take you to the casino from most of the hotels.

They have a hard time getting $4-8 limit going so $2/4 and $3/6 will be the only limit games running. $1/2 and $3/5 No limit will be running and then certain days have PLO games going.

Any employee's/regs know if they offer checks as opposed to cash at the cage for cash games?

My bank doesn't have any branches in the area, however, they'll let me scan a check with my phone and deposit it that way.

If not, could anyone recommend a bank near the casino. I guess I could set up a roll nearby and use it strictly for poker. Fee-free preferably

there's a chase bank about a mile south of the casino. you can get a free checking account.

You can get checks, but some employees might not even know it, so be prepared for the potential of a hassle. Ask for a supervisor or go downstairs. Unfortunately, I've only had the pleasure of needing to use this service once. I think tri city bank is the closest (18th & national ave.) and has the best hours. This is a grocery store branch. If you are playing 1/2 or 2/5 NL, then I don't see any problems. For 5/10 or PLO, getting enough cash from this branch may be problematic. You could call ahead or hit the free atm after window service.

10/22 tentatively. I don't know any of the details.

They do have over buttons. If you get the right group of people you can get a good game. Just make sure you specify how the kill applies to the over (no/half/full kill) and that everyone playing overs is clear on it.

There is a hotel shuttle. The route map and schedule is on the casino website. If you are staying at a hotel not on the list but near a hotel on the list, then pm me to find out how to get on if it isn't completely obvious to you.

Thanks for the tips, my hotel is on the list. I was pleasantly surprised how late it runs, which is great. Does the limit game you're talking about (I assume 20-40 with overs) go every day? Just weekends? Any info appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I'm talking about 3-6K or 4-8K with 10-20 overs. Ask the dealer for an over button and utilize your salesmanship skills. This is the biggest game you can realistically hope for at this venue. 6-12, 8-16, and/or 10-20 run close to never. It's a long shot, but you can start an interest list on a busy weekend and see what happens.

You can probably get daily $15 slot credit vouchers from your hotel (limit 12), so don't pass that up if you are headed to the casino anyway. (Unless you are one of those people who will not stop at $15, in which case, forget I mentioned it.)

Thanks for the heads up...just seems more practical to get a check in my situation. I'll check it out this weekend

Called an hour and a half ahead, currently have been waiting over an hour to be sat. This is totally ridiculous and must drive casual players far far away from this room. Last time I make the trek to this poker/waiting room.

A 4-8 LHE game usually runs on Friday. I saw a table running last night and there are a few regs that play with 10-20 overs.
