2 weeks ago the computer chip that allows them to broadcast their waiting list to one of the flat screens and it still hasn't been repaired.
When asked about it, one of the dealers gave a story about any repair parts for it have to be ordered through an approved vendor and blah blah blah. I mean, isn't it a pain for the desk people to constantly have to update people about their standing on the list? I saw at least one guy get irate yesterday b/c he thought they were seating people ahead of him from a list on which he, apparently, was 24th.
On another note, is Omaha a dying game at the Pot? The PLO broke up by 4 PM yesterday (a rainy Saturday, mind you) when a guy (not Jimmy Deuces) ran his only 2 opponents down to the felt. The 3/6 O8 broke up by 2 PM, though it get restarted at around 3:30 PM and was still running when I left at 10:30, though my departure left it 6-handed so no telling how much longer it went after that.
