New felt is very slick, and if you stare at it long enough it kind of looks like it's moving. Chairs are pretty nice.

Saw a few new memos posted last Friday but forgot to take some pictures.

From what I remember they aren't going to text anymore on Friday and Saturdays because it's too busy and you will only be on the wait list for one hour instead of two after calling in, starting either this week or next.

Anyone know for sure when it does?

First post and it's a question... The certificates you receive for winning a $250 satellite to the MSPT main event at Potto, using the transfer lines, can I legally sell my entry certificate? Or are they only for "giving" it away?

Yes, you can sell them.

What's the best way to connect with someone who wants to buy, if I'm not a regular in the room?

Are you selling for face value? Or... ?

Well I was assuming I'd need to add an obligatory discount. Unless someone is feeling REALLY generous.

It looks like since I'm new I can PM or anything, so if you are interested please let me know on the board. I'm selling my entry into the main event on April 8-10.

It doesn't take too long to wear in. Probably worst if it's not all the tables. Table 22 at Aria was the only one with new felt recently, dealers aren't used to it after dealing on the others all day.

The best way to sell is just to hang around the poker room/cage. A little bit of chat will go a long way, especially once the 'full' realm of players start to wander in.

You can also use those tickets as 'face value' when entering the ME if you want. Lots of folks don't know that either. So you could 'win' 2 of the $65 tournaments and then just apply the $500 to the ME and pay the rest in cash.

There is usually a discount involved in a transfer and the closer to the event the smaller the discount you 'need' to offer.

Hope to hit this event pretty hard either via cash or tournament .. perhaps rolling in as early as Wednesday night in time for the $250. Well see .. GL

Are these certificates locked into Friday only? That would make them less valuable as Friday only 2nd bullets ...

I know at MSPT-Firekeepers most of the $250 winners MUST play on Day 1A or 1B, leaving mostly cash entries for Saturday's Day 1C. They were making the player choose which day they wanted to play on before issuing the certificate but I think they are moving away from that ... we'll see in May at that venue. GL

Well I'm selling an $1100 main event entry certificate. I played through from a $65 entry and I'm just indifferent to playing in the main event. If you are interested, please PM me.

Also it doesn't appear the certificates are locked to either of the day 1's. I assume you can just show up either day with it and use it for entry.

It would have a black marker through one of the non eligible days.

The certificate is eligible for both day 1's. It says it right on it, I had to take a look to see.

So this certificate will buy us into the main event, is that what I'm getting out of this?

I'll buy at the standard discount of $1050 if you can meet me there later on Friday night. I'll probably be there/reg around 7PM.

Nice work to turn $65 into $1000!! You will sell it for sure .. just do some talking with players and the floor/dealers and the word will get around.

I love the cash action during these events so I'm more than willing to turn over a few of these 'tickets' at a guaranteed profit (and less time commitment). There are a ton of locals at the MSPT Firekeepers who earn these with no intention of actually playing the ME. I'm sure it's the same at almost any site. GL

Thanks! Still looking to sell, sooner rather than later. I don't especially want to wait until the weekend of the tournament. PM me if interested!

You need to hang out in the room and let the floors know what you want to do. I will PM you also. GL

Do they typically run any WSOP satellites?
