Potawatomi (Milwaukee, WI) - Page 108 - Venues & Communities -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

3 weeks ago in the Thursday $1/2 PLO/PLO8 game a guy ran up $500 to $5300 in 4 hours then cashed out.

I've seen $7K in the $1/2-5 Saturday PLO, and a room regular had over $6000 in that game this last Saturday.

Last week I was on $1/3 and a guy gets called to our table. The reg next to me says, "This guy is action, good for a few buy-ins" so I get into a pot with him right away when I 3-bet him with AQo OTB and then call 2 streets with no pair which beats his Q6s no pair at showdown. Thinking this guy is gonna spew off stacks he does the opposite and makes every hand vs. everyone, gets folds when he's bluffing and then leaves with close to $2500 two hours later.

which days does the plo/plo8 run? how early do i have to get there to get in the game? i'll be coming from chicago and havent been to potawatomi in ages

Monday - $1/2-5 ($200-$1000) PLO/PLO8
Thursday - $1/2 ($100-$500) PLO/PLO8

I know Thursday starts at noon, pretty sure Monday does also. Call to ask. The games have a priority seating list of the people that started the game the previous week. In the Thursday game there's 1 guy that leaves by 2PM for work and another that leaves by 4:30PM. Sometimes not everyone from the previous week shows up so whoever is on the list gets in the game (1 or 2 people).

Bad beat just hit about 2 hours ago. 2 straight flushes on a 2-4game. Guess the losing hand hit the loser for his 2nd time. I just arrived to hear the buzz. Crap

Room share=$278, Table share just under 8G.

It took 3 hours to begin payouts.

I hear you. I'm guessing sngs by demand at 260. I actually just took saturday the 21st off today to play that day. Your post motivated me find some time to play it.

What do you think, 100 people will play in it on those Saturday's?

I played at 2-5 Ho Chunk Wisconsin Dells with a lot of people who were talking about being Potawatomi regs. I guess 2-5 doesn't really run there but tons of it runs here. It's probably not worth it for me to make the drive from the west side of Madison after work Mon-Thurs but maybe I'll turn into a weekend reg.

Went on a removal today up to antigo. Passed a casino called potawatomi charter. I assume they're related because it had the same flame logo. Anyone ever play there? Seemed kinda small.

Do they ID on the weekends? I was gonna go tonight but I realized I lost my ID and don't have WI proof of addy yet to get another. I'm 26 and look about my age if that makes a difference.

Honestly I've only been carded twice at Poto my whole life: when signing up for the fkc card and by security randomly when I walked in once. I'm now 30, been going for years.

I didn't get carded entering on the skywalk, but I walked by someone who was explaining why they didn't have ID and trying to talk their way in. I did find my ID at a bar earlier, but I think if you wait for a big crowd/crowded time and walked straight to poker from the 4th floor garage entrance you'd be safe

Yeah it's been frozen since Friday. They might not even know...

They implemented a new tournament registration system where they only have to swipe your players card up at the podium and it prints out a receipt you take the the cashier to pay and they stamp it PAID. It's a huge improvement compared to before (although I think the system went down on Thursday).
