Got an invite today to a casino party on Jan 31 to celebrate the launching of the all new player card levels, so that will be changing soon.

tl;dr trip report from an out of towner:

Played at Potawatomi for the first time in about a year this weekend. I just played $1/$3 and the game seemed a lot better than I remember them being (lolsamplesize).

I have a bad memory but for some reason I was expecting no money on the table (I'm used to a $100/$300 min/max and I don't remember that being the rule previously here), below average dealers, players that played slow, and a really long wait time to get on a table. There ended up being a good amount of money on the table (or at least what I'm used to at other casinos), players that played relatively quick that were worse than I'm used to, and all but 1 dealer seemed average to good.

However, I did wait a pretty long time to get on the table. I know it was a weekend night, but having 20+ on a wait-list seems way too long even if 75% are call ins. The "we will text you" is nice because you don't have to wait in the poker room but it also slows down filling up the table since they have to wait 10 minutes to text the next person. It seemed like I waited forever to get on a table and then after getting on we played 7 and 8 handed for a while.

PS: having to pay for non-alcoholic drinks is ridiculous.

PSS: something about the room/casino said it was run by semi-amateurs. Not sure if it was the long wait, the 1 below average dealer, the way the floor had to be called for a very basic ruling (dealer was obviously right but 2 regulars disagreed), or maybe it was the drunk guy that got kicked out 1/2 hour after he should have been. Dude was literally yelling at security for about 10 minutes to not shoot him, that he wasn't leaving until he got his money (that was on the table), that one of the security guards was soft, and that he was going to **** in the hand of one of the security guys.

Sounds like I missed a good time. Poto is what it is and will never be what we want at this point. Just have to grab our ankles and count what little money there is to be made.
