Commentary like this is why I don't really participate in this thread. I and my employees and our dealers all put a lot of effort in every day to provide a safe, fun, and legal place for people to play cards in Portland, and I don't really want to get into arguments with people who want to call me a criminal. I'm sure those running the other clubs in town feel the same (or, more likely, don't know about 2+2).
While there are some gray areas that need to be cleaned up, neither the police, the DA, the AG, nor the OR Legislature considers what we are doing illegal. But that won't convince people who want to think otherwise.
As for the issue of learning about the cash games, many of which do exist in people's homes in the area, it's best done through old-fashioned personal networking. Spend some time in the local clubs and get to know a few people and you'll find out about the games quickly enough.
