(Hope this is the right subforum!) Does anyone know if there's a solid poker community in Rockhampton City, Queensland? A quick Google shows me some small tournaments around town at bars, etc. Any insight would be gratefully appreciated.
Like any country town in Aus, the best way to get plugged into the poker community is
- search up for pub poker tournaments Eg APL in the city
- play the games, be social, make friends etc
- after you have played a few and know the regulars, ask them if they want to play a home game (or ask if they already have one)
Most towns the size of Rockhampton have a poker community somewhat, May be smaller May be bigger but it will exist
