I'm glad you asked, let me share my experience here.
I played here Saturday night, and this is the closest thing to a non-LA style room in the area so far. I wish it was closer to the Valley where I live. This room was easy to find, spread a decent selection of NL games, and had staff and players who were friendly, courteous, competent and professional. It is a small room for LA; I counted 17 or 18 tables plus a few California games tables. They have food from an attached restaurant that looked very nice for sit down eating (discounted special menu for seated players), and alcohol from the same.
They do use they same SoCal style of blinds/buying. When I was there, they had 1/2 (50-100 buyin), 2/3 (100-300), and 3/5 (200-1000) for no limit, and a 3/6 Limit Big O (Omaha with a 5th hole card dealt, 50 min buyin). There was no Limit Holdem which is a hole, but if people were wanting to play it, they would spread it. They did seem to have quite a schedule of small and medium tournaments, and would run sit-n-go tables pretty much on demand, from what I saw.
An unusual thing is that apparently staff can play here, which us cool if you work there and don't want to drive to LA for poker.
The downsides are: an hour drive down the 101 crossing the 405, no comps, no Bravo, and no players card for promotions.
I personally feel the upsides of the room outweighed the downsides, and I liked this place better than either Commerce or the Bike so far. They will see me again.
