Sounds like the room is basically 40 hours of poker.

It's free parking unless there's a game

Sorry for the confusion with the parking... Parking is FREE in the garage and in the open lot EXCEPT for during Phillies Home Games! 3 Hours before a Phillies Home Game until 1 Hour after the game, you will need to pay to park in the garage, unless you are a gold card member or above, or earn enough for the reimbursement

so if you get to casino before 4 pm its free

thats gonna be bad business for people who just want to play and not go to the game fwiw

Also, tell me about the player pool. Is it the same colluding mother****ers from Rivers, the terrible players from Parx, or the life-threatening scumbags from Harrah's Chester?

I don't care about alcohol or chips or waitresses. Tell me about what matters.

Go.
You sound awfully disrespectful to the other players and your reference to Chester actually gives off racist undertones. Why would that kind of post make anyone inclined to help you?

Doubt it. Only put off a couple nits here and there.

Played here this past weekend and really enjoyed it, room is nice, TV coverage is good, dealers were solid and room overall felt well-run. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Philly or when Parx is full (most weekends now it seems), and will be going some even when Parx isn't full (something I never considered with Rivers, as I'm ~25 min closer to Parx).

My one complaint is that we're paying $2 promo rake and not getting anything other than bad beat from it - Rivers is charging the same $2/hand and offering a lot of high hand promos, whereas Parx is only charging $1/hand with nothing but bad beat jackpot.

24 hour booze is that true? I heard years ago casinos could buy a license to offer it but none had done it to my knowledge, can't really find any info online but just heard that from someone.

So you pay for parking when you go in or when you leave? Again it's it all day? If I come at noon to play poker on a day the Phillies play but left 11 pm what happens?

Parking is paid when you enter the garage. If you enter more than three hours before game time, you will not be charged.

I’ve gotten emails for reduced rate rooms, I’ve had 3 trips there and have earned between 8-10k slot points each trip... so that gives you an idea where to start. No shot for strictly poker players.

Very helpful, thank you. What was the reduced rate you were offered?

Awesome, I would be Plat if I tier matched, too. Interesting... probably about the same all in cost as staying at the hotels near Parx but it's a lot cheaper for me to get to Philly and there's obviously a lot more to do vs Parx.

Really appreciate the info, thanks man

2 things. first, running 8-10k thru a machine every day and not getting a comp but instead a high priced room sounds awful. and second, i dont live in the area, and i am not sure if the new Philly live is the old harrahs casino or a newly built one elsewhere altogether. does anyone know if its the same place or not?

It’s a new casino near the sports stadiums. The Harrahs one is still out in Chester.
