and fyi, The Borgata has a pretty lengthy thread on this forum. parx is okay if you don't mind smoke, but lets not get carried away...it's not The Borgata.
The change to a "no flop no drop" policy was a week or 2 ago.
When did anyone claim that Parx was the Borgata? Both poker rooms have strengths, both have weaknesses. Parx is clearly on a very positive track towards becoming a really good - great, even - poker room.
So far, so good. And the full tables and long wait lists are proof of this, IMHO.
Sure, The Borgata has a lengthy thread on this forum - it's had a poker room for years and years. Parx just opened their poker room up! What would you expect, in terms of thread length?
Let's see - as of right now, 2+2 is showing that the Parx thread has a total of 1,926 posts, the first of which was on 12/17/2009 - long before the room even opened. Post number 843 is the first one on 11/03/2010 - which is the day that the room officially opened to the public. So, there have been 1,083 posts to the Parx thread since it opened.
As of right now, 2+2 is showing that the Borgata thread has a total of 12,240 posts, the first of which was on 2/21/2009. Which of course was well after the Borgata had a poker room. By several years, in fact. The first post on 11/03/2010 was number 11,851. So, there have been a grand total of 389 posts on the Borgata thread since then. Looks like a roughly 2.5:1 advantage for Parx, on the thread count issue, since Parx actually opened up their poker room.
Not that I think that this means anything in real life, because I don't. But - since you made an issue of it, I figured I'ld check the numbers and see what they really are. I need more of a life.....
